man, i NEED a stratus 16 lol... awesome work on that cap, does it sit on top of the old one or did you machine a new one, threads and all?

well as most everyone knows that the 16mm is in the works and i have been looking for 16mm mod or something close to it to use for photographing the new 16mm stratus . luckily the very generous Missemma offered to loan her icon to me which im very thankful for . only problem with the icon is it has a slanted top cap , well thats not really a problem when you have a mini machine shop in your basement. yup yup custom flat top icon for the 16mm stratus is done . As a thank you for her kindness , when i give her icon back she will get the custom top cap to go with it .

Love the quilt too....I only use quilts myself as anything else is to heavy and hot.
I need help! I cannot access Google Docs for some reason; I have tried and tried from different computers. Same thing happened to me when I tried to get on Caravela list. Anyways, can someone add me for the 19mm, polished, stiff draw version? Pretty please? PM for any additional details needed to add me.

Could be a firewall issue; I know my work prevents access to Google Docs to try and prevent data leakage. I have to use my iPhone to sign up on the forms / check results spreadsheets.

The more I study this thread, the more impressed I am. I REALLY want the 22 - dreaming of it sitting proudly on top of my future Caravela.
JHerron, any chance you'd consider a brass outer finish? Not that I want to get too matchy-matchy, but..., oh, decisions & considerations, oh, my....
Also thinking maybe I should get in on the 19, in case I miss out on the 22. Plus, I'd be interested to compare the two. Why are my funds so limited? Rhetorical, of course. I mean, honestly, is there ever enough $'s for all the things we long for?
And the 'vela is not the only APV I'll ever purchase, I'm sure, lol. What do ya'll think about the 19 for the Caravela?
