Jherron: Beautiful! It would be nice if you designed the Stratus 22 to be able to have optional bottom cap adaptable to your mod much like the Ihybrid Synthesis.

battery tube and switch end of hybrid prototype . so far i really like the look and feel of this switch .

the rest of the ones who paid before the final batch will be going out at the beginning of the week as im doing the finishing up on those now . the final batch is about 2 weeks away from shipping . ill be sending out the the first round of invoices for the stratus22 sometime next week. working in larger batches is definitely working out to be better . today alone i turned out 10 top caps , so it is way more efficient . first round of the 22mm will consist of 25 atomizers , the payment deadline will be listed in the message , I will give ample time for everyone to get their payment in but if not recieved by the deadline I will move futher down the list until the first 25 are accounted for . this method will be way less chaotic for me because i wont be jumping back and forth from packing to building , cleaning , assembling ect. everyone will get they're atomizers faster this way and it will be easier for me to make updates becuase i wont have several batches in different stages of progress , im rambling i hope that all makes sense to everyone

Good morning/afternoon. I got my first rba (the Stratus of course) quite awhile back. At that time Jherron was offering to set them up for first timers like me. I think what happened is he got real busy because lots of people were ordering them, so he forgot to set mine up for me the first time. No problem..I totally understand. Anyway, it's made for a U wick or a double wick? I have had two people locally try to help me set this up...but to no avail. All I get is burnt taste and none of them know what to do for a U wick or double wick. So anywy, I was wondering if there is a video somewhere on setting this up for a U wick? Or I was also wondering if someone who is really good at this would be willing to set it up for me? I'm happy to pay for your time. Thanks in advance.

wish I was local to help; sorry! No u-wick experience yet, but can give pointers on the dual wick / dual coil. Keep in mind that each of the coils will need to be built for about twice the ohm that you are looking to vape. I am usually 1.0-1.3, so each of the coils I built were about 2.0-2.4. When you dual it, keep in mind that you will also not get as hot a vape, because it's the same battery with the same volts and amps, but splitting the power between 2 coils. If it's just burning up, my guess would be that each of the coils is set up at sub 2.0 ohm, putting the overall setup sub 1.0 ohm, and it's overworking the coil, but just a guess.

I actually decided that it wasn't for me and went back to single coil for the time being. Good luck on the u-ey though!

U-wick is fairly easy, at least easier then I thought it would be. Cut your mesh on the diagonal (45 degrees) and roll it before oxidizing. This way it will remain flexible and it won't kink when you bend it. Also, try to keep the edge of the mesh on the top of the bend. After it's rolled pre-fit it into the Stratus, so you can see the size of the bend you'll need to make. Take it out (try to hold the bend in place) and oxidize the bend. Oxidizing the bend will keep it held in place. Oxidize the rest of the wick. Fit it back into the Stratus and wrap a coil.

There are some decent YouTube video how-tos around as well. I think the vid that I found most helpful was a rather long review of the Foggatti.

Finish is amazing.....after seeing some of the other pics, I didn't think it would look this good. It's flawless....very well done!!!

Had a touch of "machine oil" taste but nothing a quick bath in Dawn couldn't fix. Center post is very very solid and it hits like a dream, tight draw cap 1ohm, 3/4 30g A1 @ ~ 3.4 volts on Provari Mini....
