So,I've been contemplating making my first jump into the variable voltage market and have decided on a Provari V2.5.My only problem is I am have trouble justifying my purchase, and was looking for your opinions.I was also wondering if anybody has had any trouble with tanks or atties that have leaked into the juice well on a provari and if it made its way into the electronics.

I got a Provari 1 month after I started vaping which was 20 months ago. I love it. It was used & a V1 & I have dropped it numerous times & never had any problems with it. I loved it so much I ended up buying 2 more, a white mini & a pink mini. If you check Provape's site they have some that they considered "Blemished" may have a small scratch or the word "Provari" is too dark. I have one that is too dark & the only way I could even tell was by comparing it to my other one. I think it was $150, so $29 off reg price. All I can say is I continued buying other Mods & none of them compare. I am finally done trying others because as far as I'm concerned the Provari is hands down the best & worth every penny!!! LOL, yes I am a Fangirl!!!!

To question the higher cost of the Provari is common. If you had done any research here in the Provari forums here you would find very few people having problems with theirs, and regretful that they had not purchased it way before other devices that either stopped working or easily broke when simply dropped.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provari/

I tell people that when they buy a Provari, not only are they investing in a very durable, finely crafted APV, they are also investing into Provape, the manufacturer. When you buy one of the less expensive mods from China, once it breaks or stops working after the warranty, your *****. China doesn't do repairs. When you buy a Provari, you get a 1 year warranty, an option to purchase an additional year, and peace of mind that even after the warranty expires, Provape will repair a Provari for already published prices, item per item. Their customer service is fast and excellent.

So if consistancy, durability, and dependability are key words in your decision making the Provari will not let you down. If you can find a better variable voltage PV than a Provari, then buy it.

Ok, my story may help you. Bought 2 different cigalikes and they both died in 2 weeks or less... wasted 130 dollars. a Lavatube next since I couldn't justify the cost of a Provari either (my mistake). Lavatube worked awesome, instantly quit smoking 2 packs + a day. Then wife wanted one, she quit. Helped close friend and wife quit... then 8 other people. After 2 months my trigger button would start sticking on. A week later it totally crapped out. While waiting in frustration for the mod to be evaluated and replaced I bought a Provari V2. Hands down the best purchase I've ever made. Over 6 months and not a mark on it. No signs of wear and tear works perfectly every time.... I LOVE IT.
then my friends trigger button died on his Lavatube too, and his wife's bottom cap fell off. Other people had assorted wear and tear issues as well.
Long story shorter 5 of us original buyers of the LT have purchaced Provari. All 5 of us are way beyond being just happy with the purchase.
Problem # 2. used my old tank on the Provari.... which is like putting the transmission from an Escort on a Ferrari. I've been experimenting a LOT with tanks, atomizers etc and what works the best are genesis atomizers in my opinion. I have the Z Atty Pro. My wife on the other hand thinks they are to heavy for her and we've found the Vivi Nova works best for her. Tanks work great if you get a good tank like IBTanked Pyrex ones. It's the cartomizers I have issues with.... the are unpredictable and messy, lasting from no good from the start to some lasting 2 days some lasting 2 weeks. No 2 seem to vape exactly the same. Plus you lose 1/3 to half a tank of fluid every time you change one because it gets absorbed into the carto. at an average of 19.99 a 30 ml bottle you start to lose money over time.
genesis atomizers work famously well and are not that hard to wick and recoil. Especially since the coil will last a LOT longer than cartos and I don't lose any fluid when I rebuild mine. As far as leaking the z atty pro if kept upright has never leaked. I made a Provari holder for my desk that's Pyramid shaped and I just keep mine in there when not in my hand. Or standing upright in my locker at work. For me keeping it upright has not been an issue. Nor for my friend who also has one as well.
Hope that answers your question. If you have any for me feel free to send me a PM or post to this link and I'll reply when I can.

Thank you everyone for your replies so far.
I think you have all sold me on the provari. As far as other mods go,all of mine are USA made as I personally want to support the us manufacturers and their superior products. My mods so far are a GLV2 mini, precise+ 18500 and en epipe mods v1 pipe. I think the only thing I am missing is the Provari.

I actually got to hold a provari today at a local vape meet. Honestly this thing feels indestructible. It is heavy, imagine the weight of 4 ego 1000mah batteries. The metal is thick and overall the whole things is sweet looking. I vaped on it and wow...smooth and strong. I was on the fence between a provari and a evic for a while now...its locked in for me..provari is my next big purchase.

Nowhere
Although I have a Provari already, 2 other VV mods, and 2 mechanicals, I still really want a Mini. I keep debating whether to gift myself one for my 1 year smoke-free anniversary.

What do you all think?

Do it...I just traded for a fun size provari to go with my full sized one. I also have a bunch of other stuff...evic, zmax, legacy, gus stuff, Temon, natural and more stuff (EA, Innokin thing) on the way via coops. Still I wanted a mini provari and the other person wanted something I had two of...seemed like destiny

Buy one but have them ship the body to you first, then have it powder coated red and send it back to them for assembly. I think that would be the PERFECT 1 year gift for you.

Is one year coming up soon? I say do it!!! You deserve it :)

The second week of April. I didn't mark a particular day, it was whenever the last cigarette in the last pack was finished. I haven't touched or wanted one since.
