Did you read where he is making something close to the Darwin? That's when I thought of you. Also I think he would make one a bottomfeeder. Did you PM him to tell him what you were looking for? I bet he would do it. Price right people do anything lol. So if you do find something Please be sure to post so I can see and know you got something. Thanks. vape HARDY!!!

hmmm. as of now, and pretty much anything asides from the z-max and provari, it's all limited to 12 watts (darwin included). zmax at 15, and provari at 14. i know for sure provari does 14 watts max, not so sure about the zmax although it does definitely go to a 15 watt setting

i'm checking in on the topics for evolv's new chip every now and then. once that release's i'm sure i'll have my dream mod actually accessible. i'm pretty sure that this new chip will go pass that 12 watt limitation and also can have a screen to it.

it's not that no one will make me a bf with an oled screen and easy toggle darwin like wheel, but it's the fact that the hardware isn't available yet.

if that guy can make me something that does what the darwin does (wheel-dial for on the fly watt variation) but is as compact and small as a reo grande or vmod xl, with an oled screen AND max out at 15 watts OR higher...

i'll let him name his price lol
or course i'm going to add in a bunch of other small detailing.
i may not even want a bottom feeder anymore. i recently just got into rebuildable atty tanks and i'm waiting for the ac9 to release.

instead of where the bottle goes, i might just want the 510 connection to .... lower to the bottom so the window would show the tank part of the ac9 and have the top of it stick out so i can put a dripper tip on it. i want to have the ability to change flavors on a whim now.

Sorry sir but you're wrong, will take pics to prove it. Have set my v2 provari to 6v with a 1.7 ohm single coil and did not get an e2 error.

That's very interesting, because according to Provape's own engineering team, the Provari maxes out at 14.5 watts @6v @2.42A... See THIS THREAD

According to that thread, it has a 3.5A limit but ALSO a 14.5 watt limit

I am only going on what I have read, so apologize if incorrect, I have 2 provaris but both v1 and had looked into getting them upgraded, so I have read a little about the upgrades, perused the charts etc..

perhaps the paper figures do not match reality but 21W is a long way above 14.5.
very curious.

Modders have done extensive tests on the Provari's limits. It maxes at 14.5 watts, give or take a small amount for manufacturing tolerances.

Not only that, but 1.7ohms at 6v is 3.53A, over the amp limit to begin with, and even if a tolerance allowed it to fire, the moment it heats up resistance drops, which would make amps go up.

well man. this thread just went down a wrong turn. though i would like to know what the max watts on a provari is, as it would help me scalp out what i'm looking for; mainly future proofing. from this, i can add that i want something higher then a 14 watt cut.

now i don't really mind going off topic so long as i can relate said post's to my thread/topic. anyways let's keep on task please. i would like to see a vid instead of pics though.

so far, ignis box mods are heading down my ally. as soon as they come up with something i want, it's what i'm going to get asap.

I know wood is beautiful, but down South in truly humid climates, where we also have a full 4 seasons, I can't even keep a kitchen cutting board intact for years and years. They just do not hold up to the moisture in the air + very hot/very cold temps.

I'd like a mod like this, but not in wood. Besides, wood is heavy. I like high tech materials, while not as asthetically pleasing, they are more practical.

I've read just about every book on mountaineering and the climbing of Everest, etc. and can't believe they did it in the old days with wool pants and cleats strapped to shoes. I love high tech materials of today.
