i removed the name form the post
please be careful with knock off and people selling old version 1 vivi nova, there are many fakes out there, using the our pictures pushing the vivi nova and it is not the same, some have brass parts etc., its not a vision product.
some even copied the box but you can tell the real form the fake. This is not in reference to any vendors, this is in reference to chinese factories plopping out fake vivi nova
Thats why when I found you guys..I only order Vivi's from you..I know what im getting and that it will works![]()
Is dry burning these recommended ? if so would short burst be the best way about it ? I've been vaping 100% VG and have gone through 4 tanks before the vapor and taste started to diminish .
Yes you can. Short bursts only. If your coil gets bright orange/red to white it's to hot and will eventually pop. I dry burn mine to just a weak orange glow until the coil is clean. Works fine.

please dont take that as discouragement to shop elsewhere. Shop anywhere you are comfortable with , we just care to have you all here as family.
But max and the vision team only distribute to 2 sellers in china and they are certified vision outlets, the other 14 places are not and are selling knock offs plain and simple, using our images, our name and calling it vivi nova, many dont look the same, others are version 1 passed as the latest and so on. So just be careful. Everyone knows Vision, Max and gotvapes are as close as can be and gotvapes only sells real vision products.

Well I have decided after a few weeks that the nova isn't for me. I originally liked it and have written a few positive updates but there are some issues that made me go back to my vision stone v3. I think the main issue is with the design which on the surface was a good thing.
The small tube and plastic/ceramic cup in ce2 designs can be a little fragile. The nova solved this with a very robust center tube. The metal replacement heads are also very nice on the surface as well. The problem with having this much metal in the tank, and a metal coil cup results in a huge conductive surface area. This means that when you fire the coil the heat flows into the metal. Now you loose heat that normally would be vaporizing juice. Vapor picks up once the whole assembly has been heated up. Now the problem is all this heat then is transferred to the juice via a large surface area. This results in cooked juice. After a few minutes of vaping the entire tank is hot.
Now all that is not great as is. Another side effect of this is that the coil is very inefficient. loosing all that heat to the metal means that I need more voltage to get good vapor production. Which makes the heat issue even worse. For instance my v3 stone gives massive vapor at 3.3v at 2.0ohms. To get that kind of vapor from the nova I would have to run 5v at the same resistance. At the same voltage and resistance, the coils are producing the same amount of wattage but the heat is being lost to the assembly.
This results in short battery life and cooked juice. I was originally ok with the reduced performance due to no leaking, but losing half my juice to cooking in the tank made me put it away. I found out why I was having leaking issues with my stone 3 and it is the tank for me.
Conclusion: the build quality is top notch. The design looks good, but as a vaping device it is fundamentally flawed. I love that this tank was developed. It attempted to solve some issues other tanks have. In the end like most things in vaping once you fix one issue 5 more crop up. I think the biggest change I would want to see is a different cup material or an insulator between the head and the main tube to stop the buildup of heat.
