For you Nova vets, how often do you clean the heads? I have the V2.5 version with the long wicks and its preforming very nicely. I've cleaned it before, and am just about at the end of a third tank. I don't think it needs a cleaning now before I refill, but then again I'm thinking I should just to preserve its longevity. On that note, assuming I don't pop a coil, how long should I expect these to last?

Entirely depends on the thickness of the juice. I was vaping a Chocolate Mint from LF (a very syrupy liquid) and it clogged up every other tank. I was unable to save a head that went through 5 tanks without cleaning, ended up dismantling it to check to see if it had a non-resistance wire and will rebuild it later. Anyway, easy way to check is to just screw top off, pop off the silicone top, then look at the coil. If it's gunked, clean it, otherwise you should be good to go for a bit longer.

As with everything else, how long depends on care, caution, liquid, and usage. I'm going on 2 weeks on my current head, but the one I used a syrupy liquid on only went a few days. If you just buy the parts to rebuild it you don't have to worry about it much, just keep a few pre-wound wicks/coils around to throw into the head quickly. Costs about $0.10 to repair one, much easier to just rebuild than to obsess about cleaning imo.

I preemptively clean mine at lease once a week. 20 soak in PGA, then about 20 min dry time. I have heard its better to clean before its totally gunked up. I have been using the same head now for 4 weeks or so. Just cleaning often.

I really need more minis. I had the mini nova on my vmax, and they were nestled quite comfortably in my shirt pocket. Well, the vmax is made of brass, so when I bent over to pick up a paper that had dropped; well, the mini nova never saw it coming. I bent it back as good as I could, and popped it all back together. It isn't in too bad of shape. But, it isn't the same.:blink::cry:

They were out of stock last week but I placed an order for other stuff. Looked the next day and they were back in stock, so I had to place another order. THEN...I saw the rebuildable eGo Visions were in stock, so I placed ANOTHER order. Criminy, I'm getting killed on shipping. Keep checking!
