Here is my video on the coil replacement on the vivi nova. I put it in the other forum but thought it might help here too

I think where pretty fortunate to have a guy like Chris who works very closely with his manufacturer, many vendors just take what there given and he doesnt, he attacks this with lots of heart and tries to get us the best he can. Chris has been at the CE2 forfront from day one and has helped a great deal to improve them for the better in many ways.
Now onto the Vivi,,, I took my Atty head and re-built it in only a couple of minutes, I used 36AWG Kanthal and my own 2mm wick. The 2mm wick seems to be better in the Vivi in my opinion then the smaller wick and makes it run more like the stone tank as far as flavor and vapor. pop off the center pin from the bottom of the Atty head and take it out then take out the gommit. wrap your kanthal around a needle 3 wraps then wet your wick and twist it through your coil. this makes a nice tight coil instead of just wrapping around the wick but you can go either way, I like wrapping around the needle for a really tight coil and twisting the wick through better. Then slide your wires through from the top pulling your wick down tight from the bottom, one wire through the center the other wire in between the side wall and grommet, then push your center pin back in securing it against the one wire, then break the leftover off. Anyways see pic below and you will see the stock Vivi head in the background compared to the new one I made, this feeds the coil with more juice giving me some more flavor then the smaller wicks do, but it may not be the end all I'm sure Chris will come up with an even better resolve for the flavor but I'm very happy the way this is performing like this.
On another note, a 306 Atty in this tank is dam close to working and will work with some small modifications I think. I was fiddling around with a 306 & i06 looking at how to get it to feed in this tank, so lets hope maybe Chris can work with his manufacturer and also get this done too because this would make for a real Monster of a tank with a 306 or i06 Atty in this tank.![]()

Yikes! I should get mine tomorrow and now I'm really nervous! I'm a total noob and kinda not getting what you guys are saying. Guess I'll just wait and see how it works for me before I worry about it too much.. BTW,, I've ordered three times and couldn't be happier with what I've bought and the super fast shipping.. even if I don't like the Vivi I'll be back anyway![]()
Send a ticket on that and we'll get it worked out if you don't want both of them...

I tried not putting the wires through the bottom, but it didn't work well for me. I like popping them through the bottom. Always makes a great connection.
LD would you mind doing a quick vid of how you have the wiring going through?![]()
I have a few stardust with cracked tubes. Does anyone know if those coils could just be popped into the vivi?

I would have to respond with a yes to this.
I did basically the same thing using parts from a 1.5 ohm Dual Coil Clearomizer to rebuild a stardust. I used the thinner gauge of the 2 coils that were in the Clearomizer.( top coil i think ) I also used the longer wick from the clearomizer and left it hanging down into the stardust tank. It tested at 2.0 ohms. It vapes better then new and I have been using it for 2 weeks now using approx 50 / 50 coffee blend juice on a 650 Ego VV passthru and a Riva 1100 mah.
Go for it... and let us know how that works out. I'd like to do the same thing to get the Nova to perk up so I can use it on the Lavatube which is a very nice fit and finish combo. ( though not as nice as the provari-nova combo as shown in the pic posted by someone else a few pages back)
