ok, i love my mini novas in everyway. they are just about perfect, just about everything i could ask for in one of these devices. BUT after using mine for a few days, they base starts to separate from the housing, leaving the center part crooked allowing all the juice to be directly sucked into my mouth... not fun when im at work in the wilderness miles from anything and of course it happened the worse the one day i ran out of water, and could not rinse my mouth out... blech. now i pay attention and just tighten it down before i use it but i need to figure out how to fix it. should i use epoxy or something? i have already had a few problems with this order and do not want to go through the exchange process again, i just want to figure out a way to fix it my self.. any advice?

ya know, i just looked at mine . the center tube is also leaning over. don't know when that happened, it still works great. is there a doom pending????
a lil juice is starting to leak out the bottom 510 stem. out the center. any body know why or how to fix??

I'm thinking you are meaning a vivi nova? What may be happening is that the head sleeve thingy isn't sealing very well with the top cap. It's one of the many reasons I've been swapping out the nova silicone sleeve for the stardust sleeve with pip (you have to add that little metal insert from the nova sleeve to make it compatible). If you have none of those, you might try pulling it (the silicone sleeve) up just a tad so that when you screw the cap down it seals more firmly.
The other thing that could have happened? You might have got juice down the air hole when you were filling. That could cause apparent "leaking" and gurgling.
I haven't had one where the center post went off, so I am unable to answer this question. But I didn't want you to feel you were being ignored.
Speaking of which, can I replace the concave metal piece that sits on the cup with a metal cone I have on hand? This is a mini nova, btw.
I'm just crazy about this thing. I've barely touched my Phoenixes. I need like 50 more of them!

Cone? Do you mean the pip out of the stardust? If so then yes, but heres the deal. You need both the pip and the stardust sleeve. You put the nova concave metal price in the stardust sleeve UNDER the pip/cone and put that entire assembly on top of the nova head. THEN it works. Just putting the pip in the place of the concave thingy is awkward and makes it a bit too short to be well sealed. The combo of both metal peices in the stardust sleeve on top of the nova head makes for IMHO a stupendous vape.

What do I know... I also reheat and drink day old coffee ( when I didn't drink the whole pot the previous day ) and eat cold pizza...
hehehe I did that for years when I got out of the Navy. Then my SIL moved in with me, and was constantly making fresh coffee. Now I can't drink old stale stuff.

If the other fix didn't work, another thing that can cause that is this...... take your drip tip off, and sorta fold a tissue into a point (or paper towel), I insert it sort of at an angle, then tilt the vivi. Sometimes juice and condensation will get in that ledge that you can't hardly see. I also do this if it seems the flavor is muting, and I'm not getting any th then it'll pick right back up.
Let me know how or if it works for you. It's always good to get some extra data.

So you can see here that the stardust metal fits in differently.
The stardust stem is longer than the nova too. What I couldn't get a decent picture on was the nibs sleeve, which isn't built for the pip. So you need to fill in the gap of the stardust sleeve with the nova metal.
Look closely, you can see both pieces of metal and it fits together nicely.

Can anyone tell me what the differences were between the version 2 and 2.5? I think the difference was the V2 had short wicks but I can't remember for sure. I know the V1 had the airhole in the base instead of the connector.
