Here's the thing, and being a vapehead, you know this: Some of us vapers want to be able to open a box, add our juice, break it in, and vape the heck out of it without having to tinker with it. I for one, don't mind the tinkering, but some of us may see this as an issue that should be addressed by the manufacturer. If they pay for something, they expect it to work on demand. If you hailed a cab in NY and you wanted to go to Soho, and the cab driver drove you to Long Island, you wouldn't want to pay the guy.... same thing here...
I pulled the cap and reseated it... quick question: What purpose do the wicks that sit above the coil serve? They are not even wrapped... lol.
Oh, and I'm still getting muted flavor, but a much easier draw.

AMEN ! I tried voicing this same issue in the GV prize thread, where aside from posting #'s to win, the majority of the posts on the thread were personal.. "Who got some last night, my wife left me or whatever" But I posted about vaping & how I believe vendors should stand behind what they sell. Last I checked that's called false advertising & there are penalties for that here in America, but in the vaping community its considered normal ? How some of us are disabled, elderly, single parents or too ill to work & can't afford to buy a 5pk of cartos & only 2 work or buying a new carto to try & find that it works GREAT ! But when you buy more of the identical carto (4/5) from the same vendor & none of them work like the first. I hear the excuse that the Chinese or who ever mass produces them doesn't check for quality or consistency, so why can't the vendors do it ? I can only imagine how much these vendors make from the consumers who don't report or return faulty $5 cartos bcuz it costs $2/$3 to mail it back. I smoked for over 30yrs & have been vaping for the past 3 going on 4yrs. I never bought a pack of smokes that didn't work, but I have a box filled with cartos that I researched & viewed countless videos on, that still DID NOT work as advertised or not at all. I'm not pointing the finger at any particular vendor, but speaking in general & honestly from experience. In 3 yrs I estimate a little over $300 worth of crappy cartos, atomizers & tanks. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't buy things that I expect NOT to work. I'm happy for the vendors who are making honest money in this economy, but somewhere along the line someone or somebody needs to start looking out for the little guy, the single mothers, the elderly, the disabled, the guy out of work or the average Joe, who's trying to enjoy the only thing that brings calm to everyday life... Vaping (smoking alternative)
I used to find joy waiting on the mailman but now I find myself worried if what I ordered will work. I'd scrape up & pay extra for a guaranteed working carto, instead of playing the vape lottery. Some may find it fun & to each his own. I survived an aortic aneurysm 7/4/2009, which left me a single mother of 2, crippled & unable to work, so vaping is not a hobby for me. Every penny counts for me, so I don't have a Provari, a Darwin , Reo or any of those great PV's most folks have & boast about. My LavaTube recently broke & I'm working with a SB that I traded for 2yrs ago. I don't see a new one in my future anytime soon. Did I mention that I got kicked out of that GV thread so I can't even win a new PV, (smdh) Anyhoo, my point is.... Vaping has come a long way from dripping, cotton filled caps & regular boges, but now with so many new cartos/tanks & new folks switching to vaping... You would think something would be in place to protect the vaptastic consumer ? I'll be waiting & still vaping until then, but instead of thinking I'm just another disgruntled customer, read my criticism & at least make an attempt to improve the vaping experience for the customer. Yeah I know I'm asking for a lot, but its not impossible. Now I'm going back in my corner to puff & watch the smoke disappear. Promise I won't say another word unless someone asks me too...
