And oddly enough, neither do their customers. You think its a chicken egg thing? Like maybe us insomniacs gravitate over here because the owners are insomniacs, or they are insomniacs because we are all over here, or some of the people are insomniacs because they never know when the gv insomniac owners are going to drop bombs. I dunno, its too much to think about on my duly prescribed physician monitored cocktail of drugs that explicitly state they aren't supposed to be mixed :D

i'll have what she's having ... ;)

Ambien (10 mg) for delayed circadian sleep disorder
Rozerem for the delayed circadian sleep disorder
Flexeril or oxazapem (depending on if it is more rls or anxiety on top of my delayed circadian sleep disorder)
Xyzal (for my allergies but it is also a cns depressor like the above)
Kariva-bc pills but also a hepatic metabolic inhibitor in combination with the rozerem

So not exactly a fun combo, I definitely DON'T recommend it.

Yeah, now if only it worked as will as I wished it did. I mean obviously it doesn't because I'm still awake and relatively lucid. But it nets me a solid 4-6 hours of sleep must nights on a work day instead of 2-0, so I shouldn't complain...

Flexeril is lovely stuff though isn't it, muscle melting without the brain fog, it is one of the few muscle relaxers I actually agree with. Or rather that agrees with me.

Wow, sheesh - doesn't that depress the hell out of you?
(sorry, I'm not sharing my meds - it's a proprietary mixture...)

Norman, Ok
I'm currently sitting here... thinking over the time since I received the v2.5 Viva Nova last Friday and while I had noticed... I really hadn't paid attention to how much of a non-issue using and maintaining them have been for me, unlike all of the other CE2 type vaporizers I've used since I started vaping.

To fill... unscrew the top and fill... scew the top back on... nothing more

Very good flavor... not great, the flavor isn't completely even and they do accent the high notes as Briar pointed out... but still very good.

My all v2.5 ( both of them currently ) haven't leaked any... I've never had that before with anything I can recall

To clean.. take off the top and the tank, unscrew the head and toss it into the alchol, rinse everything else off, replace the head with another and put the tank on... fill and replace the top. After the heads soak for a bit, rinse and dry burn them and put them back into the rotation. The disassembly, rinse and reassebly takes maybe a couple minutes and rinsing the heads and dry burning maybe a couple more at most.

This is how I always had felt it should have been all along. I find none of it fiddly in the least. I am also really looking forward to the new version of the Stardust so I can get a batch of those for the juices I don't vape as much and to not have to worry about them leaking while they sit until I get into the mood for some of them.

That is all... I'll return you to your regularly scheduled thread now...

I know, right?

It's wonderful. I only wish I could afford a couple more right now. The new head works ok on v1, but that gap up top does cause some minor issues.

Anyways, I got three of them going right now, the juices going from straight PG to straight VG - no leaks, no dry hits, no flooding, good flavor, lots of vapor, it's just vaping heaven.

I can't wait for the small version and for the modular Stardust - with those for flexibility, I'll be set for life.

With one caveat: Dan, Chris, as always, don't foget (and, to be even more of a nudnick, remember the lesson of the Chameleon): we want colors! I think we can pretty safely say this one is a hit, to it's time to prettify it. :D

for those using the v2.5 heads on a v1 nova i don't see why you couldn't modify a carto condom or something similar to make like a little silicone washer that would sit on top of the head and fill that little gap. other options could be a metal washer or perhaps sanding a hair off each end (if the inside threads are long enough) of the tube so the ends screw in a hair more.

Hm. I like the idea of sanding down the tube a bit. I have a tube that's cracked a bit anyway, so I'll try it today.

My v. 2.5 heads work fine on my v1 nova tank...

Thank you all so much for all the suggestions, I know you have probably had to answer so many questions all the time so I really appreciate the help.
I ended up taking it apart, I thought mybee I had not tightened the atty head enough or I def. Could have mybee spilled a little bit into the center hole. I also decided to cut down two of the three wicks that come out of the coil and left one long, I also cut the one that is laid on top of the coil. I had read some where in the first 30 pages of this thread that some had cut there's and felt that the flavor was alot better.
Should I have cut them all? And should I leave or remove the extra one on top with my 70pg 30vg juice?

I let it sit all night like that in a bowl with tissue and know leaking ( yay :) ). I put it on my ego twist at 3.2v and now every hit I take is a dry hit ( yuck, blahhh ).
Are these V1 heads any good to use, or should I be using my V2.5 ones? I am not given up on this tank because I know you all love it, so I know all it will take is to set it up the way you all have. Thank's again, hope you are all having a good morning. I had a bad one, I saw a huge and I mean HUGE spider walking on my rug this morning. I was watching my dog sniffing around my coffee table and I start to look around it, because he is scared of everything so I figured there must be somethng there. Well I never ever thought I would see a huge spider like that. Not sure why but as I have aged I seem to be afraid of every thing now. Never used to be, put I am now petrified of spiders, I grabbed a fly swatter and get a pan with a cover so I could push it into and put cover on. But I was so scared I had to try to squish it a bit which was not easy because it was big. I do not think I killed it, I think I may have stunned it or it is faking death like they do when there scared. Anyway, I know I am gonna sound like a big baby here but if you knew me and how I have always been you would be suprised to see me so scared. I ended up calling my husband crying, I was really freaking out, he stayed on the phone for at least 5 min. trying to calm me down. He thought it was funny and said all right we will sell the house ok, if it was a snake and he found it on the floor in the house he would not be laughing and he would sell the house lol loll.
I have it in the pan in the freezer, I wanted him to see the size of it because I know he does not believe me, u;hmmmm this is not a fishing story. I figured if I put it in the freezer it will not be all shriveld and small, it will stay the same size as it freezes. Ok, so that is my morning story.

probably a big wolf spider...the biggest spiders ive seen in the northeast have been wolf spiders...on the nova heads I would say unless you enjoy fiddling with them and building your own coil and wick setups you'd be best off with 2.5 heads.
The V1 heads were way more hit and miss out of the box while the 2.5 are mostly all working great out of the box.
