I've had my vivi nova now for at least a few weeks and it sucks. If there were problems with the first version of the heads why where they selling them in the first place. Sounds like we are the guinea pigs, not cool. I've done EVERYTHING imaginable to try and bring this tank to life. I haven't had one decent hit from this thing, so I'm done with it.

I've been following this thread for a while since I first posted at the beginning of it, and have seen the GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY. This product is mass produced in China, some work out of the box with no issues, some not so much. From what I've seen, it's a crap shoot on what you are going to get.

All I can say is that I'm sure it isn't just the GotVapes branded ViVi Nova that has these issues. Props to Chris and Dan at GotVapes for being the only vendor to step up and actually be active to trying to resolve these issues.

Hang in there, this thing can only get better!

i am half owner of gotvapes.com, i have a wonderful attitude at all times, if you know me from ecf you would know im a extremely caring person who has helped many, given all my time and care to this community, ive done my share to move this vaping world along in our own little way on certain types of products, i care about about this, its something im passionate about and everyone here can attest to that, i go out of my way to help everyone when i can, i am just one man here, daniel my incredible partner (brainchild behind the birth of gotvapes) and my brother for life is in texas so he has his work cut for him as well.

Im not sure why you would think i have a bad attitude? I mean i understand, you see a few posts, you read a few reviews, you might see me flip out on a few people who just cant speak about the issue and need to add rude nasty remarks as if that will get anyone anywhere with me, it doesn't and never will, this forum is the same.

I want you all to share your experiences, good or bad, i have said this form day 1 and it will always hold true, what i and dan dont want and not becaue we are some type of gods but becuase we are 2 men , human beings, trying to bring you products to keep you off of cigarettes, we work at this, my personal life has died over this.

So i will stay strong and keep pushing forward for all of you, not for me, i dont do this for the money, i could buy all the vaping equipment i could ever want and just go vape and be on a vacation with my fiance until im a old man.

So please don't judge me by the few posts you see here. I stand behind the policy, post here in the same manner you want to be treated, if you like to be treated badly, then don't post here. Now this means if you have a issue with a product and its under warranty, then got to gotvapes help center and knowledge base and make a ticket and you will be looked into and handled.
If you need help on products you can either open a ticket but coming here and asking for help will usually get you a faster answer, dan is around during the week and i am here every day, all day.

If you dont like a product of ours or had issues, by all means come here and express that.
But do not come here to whine and moan and call us names and act like children with rude childish sneaky nasty comments, do not come here sneakily posting links to the other vendors( we pay to be here) you can discuss vendors and we allow that but the difference between link dropping and helping others is plain as day.
Do not come in here telling us how our stuff is junk when we have so many happy people its beyond belief and we understand that some products may have speed bumps but every single vendor goes through this and we will not allow people just to point at us because we are so popular, you look foolish when you do this as 85 percent of our products our sold on other popular vendors sites and we check their forums and dont see people going in their and blasting them.

We are suppose to be grown adults in ecf, children are not allowed, adults speak to each other with respect, and there is a proper way to complain and then there is the wrong way, i have had a tendency to snap at the ones who simply want to be rude, nasty and go on some attack against us and that is wrong on my part but wont happen again as i wont respond to anyone who continues their rude behavior and will simply remove all posts from that individual.

If you bought a carto from us and it has a issue we want to help you but its impossible for vendors to exchange them once juice is inside. The variables of what could be wrong are a long list, form the type of juice your using, the type of battery, the voltage you started with, the way it was filled, the way you vape and so on and yes i do get it some carto or tanks simply might have a issue or its discovered that they might have actual issue and when that happens we have handled those issues and deal with them, if its something that is a massive issue we have shown we will help you, make a ticket and it will be looked at, thats where the majority of all issues and the nastiness of some people come from, batteries and other products have warranties so there isnt much of issue on that end.

Being that cartos / tanks/ atties are disposable products once used can make things difficult but its a policy we must stand behind as other vendors do or else we wont be able to stay in business. So if you do have issues please come to ur forum and let us know what your issue is and either i or dan or any one of our wonderful posters here will try to help you out , there is no need to be rude or go on attacks, that serves no purpose. We respect your money but i didnt destroy your life if a carto didn't work properly, so lets understand that and back off on the nastiness, we want you to be happy, we want to bring you products that hopefully can help you stay off of analogs and we are here to deal with the speed bumps that come with the terroritory when being involved in the ecig business, we simply ask to have some compassion with us and we will do the same.

I think the above is the correct reply to customers. Its well thought out and concise. You may never make them happy with the ViVi, but you will probably make a customer for life.

You just don't want to come off like the character in Seinfield that had the soup kitchen.

The only thing, IMO, wrong with the ViVi heads that have been sold up to this point can be traced back to build quality or QC during the assembly.... Out of the 3 heads I got, only one was not working properly... Many have gotten 3 good heads and a lot of people got all 3 that were bad. It was due to the CONTRUCTIVE criticism and reports that GotVapes was able to get the needed feedback and then they took that information back to the manufacturer.

Then a few users come in and start throwing tantrums because they had a poor experience... instead of posting something that could be used construstively... they deride GV's and the products and when they are called out on it, they say they are being treated poorly. As the saying goes... Methinks they dost complain too much...

well where are the new nova's at 2 weeks ago you said they where shipping in 2-4 days .it just seems like all lies .a bunch of other venders allready have them i was waiting till you got them but enough is enough

I don't think any vendor in the US has got them yet. A vendor from Canada got theirs Friday and remember it's a 3 day weekend. US Customs is probably a bit slower. I would expect we will see them this week in the states. I think it was last Monday that it just started selling in China.

Yeah... Suddenly, and seemingly out of the blue, we seem to have an invasion of a sorts. Strange. We've been peacefully discussing things for awhile now, and all of a sudden there is this, ahem... uncivility, shall we say?

It frankly amazes me that folks who reference other vendors as having this, and having that, and being better in whatever way, don't just go and hang out on those vendors' forums - and discuss the technical aspects they don't like with *them*. Why come and complain here in the first place?

Like I said: strange.

heres a pretty handy tip..If you've ever bought a 306 atty..the cover that comes on them..that cap that looks like a cart..it fits over the heads just snug enough to remove and put heads back on without taking the tank apart..been doing it since i got this thing..makes it a bit easier to swap the heads without getting the syringe out to drain the bit left in the bottom.

Oh, that's cool - makes me want to get that atty, since I don't have one. I've been changing them with my fingers, only when the juice gets low enough, and it's kind of a pain, really. You can't grab it with tweezers easily either - to round and too slick.

But since it is being updated on V2 I have been following frequently.... Now, I have to ask everyone a question. When you got your new phone and your battery sucked I mean SUCKED, did you go and throw a hissy fit at the company that made it? no you probably went back into Best buy and had a freak out attack on the poor customer service rep that had no hand in making that device, or you called up your cell service provider and yelled at them... again, just the middleman. Did you accomplish anything? is your battery any better? NO!

Now, Bad here, is selling this product designed and manufactured by another company. which he himself did indeed test before selling. Bad's taste buds and your taste buds obviously are not the same? Right? so maybe he got a few good eggs. and said wow these are gonna be great! and ya know what they really werent. should we be flaming him on line about this? NO! why should we be yelling at the guy thats sitting here trying to help us he obviously is at a loss too with these. now a normal person above the age of 5 years old would have some respect and try working with Bad to make some improvements to the device or just patiently wait and hope for the next batch to come in.

Now we have a MAJOR CAR COMPANY (not bashing any manufacturers names here) that sold cars with bad brake pedals, these could have potentially killed people!!!! and people are still driving them, noone had a major freak out about it and noone flipped out on the company... why?! because that would require too much work for them, they are simply too lazy. so instead of actually working on a major issue with a company guys, lets sit here and blast a vendor whose trying to give you alternatives to tobacco and a healthier life style for trying to make your day better but unfortunately hitting a few hiccupps! PEOPLE DISGUST ME! GROW UP!

from what i know, no us vendor has them

I've found a few other US vendors that have them, BUT you know how quickly things are "knocked off" in China... just look at all the iPhone knock offs that are out there. Having it posted that you worked directly with Vision to produce these is enough for me to wait for more to come in... period.

Hopefully people can now understand! Man, Don't you love the kind of education our tax dollars are paying for!

Anywho, Bad im pretty excited to hear when the new ones come in, hopefully i make it in time to grab one before they're gone. And to anyone else thats still around and doesn't like how Bad and his company do business or doesnt like his product instead of flaming this thread go look up another vendor, or start a business of your own!!!!!!!

Just curious, did that car company issue a recall? And if yes was it fixed at a local dealer with no out of pocket? I just hope your not still dealing with a safety issue.

So ummmmmmmm........Is the Vivi your only tank / carto ??? Has your vaping hobby / habit come to a roaring halt cause your Vivi heads dont produce ??? Is your personal life in jeopardy cause you're not getting clouds of flavor and vapor from your toy ? Did your wife or GF tell you to pack your bags cause your new heads didnt show up as you promised her they would ?? Did your kids go without dinner cause you spent your wad on a Vivi ?????

If a non producing $15 item is putting you in such a bad way... take up needlepoint or basketweaving. Youre safe, not much can go wrong there. Or better yet, just DONT get on board with a new product till all the reviews are in and you can feel all warm and fuzzy about parting with lunch money..... pretty simple. And if it took $ 15 to learn that lesson.... talk to someone whos break pedal failed on their new car and left them without a way to get to work for a week or so. You got off easy !

Take a page from Briars book and several others who have had some good / educational contributions to the cause. Be a part of the solution , not the problem. I ASSURE you that whining will get you nowhere. Do you think that Mr Vivi-san on the other side of the big pond is going to scratch his head harder and produce faster cause you're pouting and stomping your feet ??... HAHAHAHAHA

Freedom of speach is all well and good but the .....in and moaning is truly pointless and gets in the way of productive solutions. I'm sure that every Nay- Sayer will back on board in a hot second and recommending the Vivi to friends and family alike if the new heads turn this tank into everything it has the potential to be. Not to mention many other vendors who are probably watching this thread and will hop on board and start selling the Revised Vivi and enjoy RAVE reviews afforded to them by Gv's who had the balls to work thru the issues and take the initial heat.

When the new heads get here.. they get here. Whats the big fricken deal ???????

As a customer.... I appreciate the effort and look forward to the revisions whenever they happen to arrive.

As a business owner ... I hope you guys make a fricken FORTUNE on these !!

I cant believe I just invested that much time into a " Gimme a break" post. ... hahahahahahaha
