I am really liking this new vn.. I cut my wicks before I put juice in on my second tank.. I cut mine down to about half the size.. Using the 2.8 head.. That really improved the flavor.. I am using gv sugar cookie 70/30.. I never had flavor taste so good.. vaping it on provari at 4.2 & its reading 2.9.. I filled my tank above the 2.8.. I had gurgling & it leaked out of the battery end.. Just blew it out, cleaned it off & it was good to go.. When I overfilled it I filled it to where the wicks come out..

ok. So I got 2x v2.5's in yesterday. I also have one v2 from another vendor. I had heard previously (obviously incorrect now that I have them in my hands) that the v2.5's would have the airhole back in the knurling. The top and bottom of the v2 and v2.5 are the same.

I am using an Apollo SS LT (both full size and mini). Without any adapter, the bottom of the tank bottoms out on the top of the LT and prevents airflow. I have to unscrew just shy of a full turn to allow air to flow properly. I am currently using a shorty 510 to 510 adapter and that fixes the problem, but frankly it looks ugly. I am ordering a 3.5ml DCT cone that orachel suggests, but wanted to hear from others to see if my problem is unique.

Also, just to confirm that the main difference between the v2 and v2.5 heads is wick length and internally, nothing else. I have several other v2 heads plus the 3 v2.5 heads that came in yesterday.

I know that there are other LT users using the VN. Are you having similar issues?

I really wanna order a vivi right now. I borrowed $25 but I have this nagging inside saying wait they are gonna drop a bomb :(

No I think the flurry is over, and we are steadied out on the V2.5 for a while. I personally had a little adjustment time coming from tanks and cartos. With this system there is a little break in time. Also had to gain the habit of flipping it horizontal every once in a while. I personally cut the wicks and added an o-ring under the my own drip-tip. Now I have it vaping wonderfully. Not that any product can't be improved, but this is very solid now.

It is physically impossible for me to remove the drip tip from this thing without destroying it. I just put it in a vice grip and went at it with pliers, no go. :(

Take the top cap off and try to gentle push it out from the bottom.

Question, will the tip spin in the top cap or is it seized?

OK so overall I haven't been following too closely.

I had the v1 of these use with a LT..They were OK. Easier to use than my other tanks. The hits were a little dry not enough to keep my on digitals.

Are the 2.5 worth buying now for real? Or wait for the future still?

I am wanting the new ones now. From the sound of it they have fixed the major problems with the first run mostly the coil legs heating too much and burning the seal that they were in contact with and the flavor muting seems to be taken care of other than normal ce2 preference difference. Some need to trim wicks some don't. Next chance I get I'm definitely getting the new ones. The vivi tank Imo is the best thing on the market function wise and now sounds like performance wise they have things figured out for a ce2 style which IMO are better than any polyfil.

Just got my Vivi Nova, put it on the v-tube loaded it up with Vermilion River Kentucky Premium and let it sit for about 45 minutes using the stock head.

I'm running it at about 3.8 to 4.0v seems kind of low on taste and vapor production, I know a lot of people are trimming the wicks, what's the deal with that? Also what voltage are you guys running yours at?

I vape Vermillion River Juices 99% of the time. First thing you will need to do is to cut the wicks until they are just touching the sides of the tank. This will cure the flavor(you won't believe the difference) and separation of the juice ingredients problems. VR juices just don't do well at all with long wicks.

As for the vapor production...Make sure that the drip tip is pushed all the way till it bumps the flange in the top. Then take a Q-tip or such and push the little tube inside of the drip tip down until it bumps the head of the atomizer. Your vapor production will double. Just a little tuning...that's all.

The closest I have gotten to spinning the drip tip is manging to accidentally unscrew the top of the tank and spill half of the contents on my pants. On the brighter side, I am now pantsless, as everyone should be :).
