I like fiddler too. At $3 for new heads I will get new ones if rinsing them and dry burn don't get them clean. I don't fiddle at all. (boy that sounds wrong on so many levels lol)
I use a PGA soak for the Chinese attys.LOL. I just soak in hot water myself, vodka if needed, let dry, dry burn - just like I do with stardusts. I'll throw them when this doesn't work anymore. If they're like the stardusts, that'll be in a few months.
I like fiddler over modder or tinkerer......
Edit: The LOL was for the microwave discussion. Not laughing at you kwalka - nice detailed post - thank you
NONONO!!! :-] I am a full fledged modding extraordinair. I will not be labeled a tinkerer or a fiddler. That just sounds like something one could be arrested for. Are we clear?Yeah, I like tinkerer too. It's just that, when I do it, it feels more like fiddling. Tinkering, I think, is a step up - that's probably what you do.![]()

WOW, it appears as if I may of hit the wrong key when I spelled that word...Tinkler here....
After a bit of thought, if I'm not mistaken, isn't the coil oxidized by the time it needs to be cleaned therefore its non-conductive? Or are you saying that as long as the metal is submerged there wont be a light show? Your avatar does kind of make me think of Mr Wizard's World.Thats the experiment guy right.
EDIT : now that I give your avatar another look, he definetly looks like the kind of wizard who would put metal in the microwave:-]
I can just see this. Headline: A man blows up his microwave and ends up in the hospital - electronic cigarette responsible!
I have put all kinds of metal vaporizers in the microwave, some of them quite big like the Echo Carto. As long as they are under water (I make sure there is at least one inch of water over them) and there has never been a hint of a light show.
Thank your for the Wizard analogies, I think?
