I like fiddler too. At $3 for new heads I will get new ones if rinsing them and dry burn don't get them clean. I don't fiddle at all. (boy that sounds wrong on so many levels lol)

I use a PGA soak for the Chinese attys.
IMO, as long as there is current flowing to the coil in the Vivis and other tanks, my method will bring it back to new with patience.
Tinkerer. I just cant get past the implications of what that word brings. Fiddler, makes me think of a guy dancing on a roof. Modder, now were talking highly skilled, properly tooled, master PV creator. Maybe one day I will reach that title.

But, I'll have you know that fiddling and tinkering were well respected professions long before they gained the connotations you are thinking about it. I think you owe all us proud fiddlers and tinkerers an apology.

WOW, it appears as if I may of hit the wrong key when I spelled that word...
I like to tinker so I guess that makes me a tinker too (or tinkler as the case may be) ... but I really do prefer fiddlin' around. Not crazy about making clothing, done with fighting wars, and not keen on espionage either – fiddlin’ is just more fun.
After a bit of thought, if I'm not mistaken, isn't the coil oxidized by the time it needs to be cleaned therefore its non-conductive? Or are you saying that as long as the metal is submerged there wont be a light show? Your avatar does kind of make me think of Mr Wizard's World.

That's a good one Briar and not too farfetched.
Anyone uncomfortable with my method certainly shouldn't even consider it. If they did there is a good chance their Microwave would reach the end of it's scheduled lifespan right in the middle of boiling a carto then my method could become as taboo as stacked batteries.

I have an official announcement to make. Let the record show if I had posted a statement about being a tinkler, and intended to say tinkerer, I would of edited it and posted something along the lines of riding the short bus.
Now could somebody please clarify for me the difference between a tinkerer and a fiddler. I think a tinkerer or fiddler vs a modder is pretty clear. Lol I think fiddler trys to fix things and tinkerer actually kinda fix things. Actually I don't know cuz I can't even hammer a nail in the wall moreless mod anything
