Thanks, Rave. Those are very good instructions. :) I didn't know about the quick dry burn to help dry the wick and coil, will do that next time I clean out a clearo.

Well, it works for me, and I haven't killed any yet.

Please note that I edited my post. I blow it out before the second dry burn. Got meds-for-brains right now.

There was no way I wanted to try pulling them all apart to clean. This method cleans them out very well and makes them vape like new again.....and it doesn't take long at all.

I dry burn with one of my 78 manuals. I prefer auto batts but I think I'm going to get an x2 manual when I order more clearos. It's nice having a variety of manuals and autos, and cartos and clearos. I've been trying to figure out if there's a way I can glue some "jewels" to the bottom of the end cap on the x2s. lol

If you have a craft store, you can use Swarovski flatbacks. You don't want the heat set ones, just plain flatbacks and some E6000 adhesive. Put the glue on the end cap, use a small ball of beeswax on the end of a toothpick to pick up the crystals by pressing down on the top of them, place the bottom of the crystal into the adhesive on the end cap..... let it set for a day. If you have glue that came out from under the jewel, use adhesive remover on a Q-tip to clean up around them.

Thank you!!! I printed out your instructions and will try it. JoAnn's should have what I need. I'll place the jewels before I put glue on it, for fit and placement, and then have a go at it.

JoAnns should have them marlou. They may even have the sticks with wax on them to pick them up with. Tweezers work, but they're a pain. Just ask someone in there. They're helpful people.

JoAnns is one of my favorite stores. My daughter was the manager at the one in my neighborhood till it was closed. Now she's at the newer super store they opened here. I never got into making jewelry, so I'm not familiar with working with 'jewels.' The extent of my experience is a watch and a bracelet made from kits. I appreciate your help with how to glue small gems. Knowing which materials and tools to use will make my "project" a lot easier. :)

I wanted to thank Morri for helping me out in the newbie thread. Finally have enough posts to post here. I bought two clearomizers from SI as well as the volt x2(which, by the way, I love!!). I made the mistake of occasionally turning it upside down to wet the wick in the clearo which was a mistake. I found that some e-juice was getting on the terminal of my x2, not much, but some. Are they still usable or do I have to clean them out? So far no issue with the battery of course.

Wipe off your battery post, and check for juice that may have gotten into the channel around it (you can soak that up with something absorbent wrapped over the end of a toothpick). Maybe a puff of breath up through the clearo from the battery end. That should take care of it, without emptying your clearo.

Welcome, jshamm! Glad Morri was able to help you out. She a fun person.

I've managed a little juice not wanted on my tongue in some cases. The clearo is still useable, just have to watch how far we tip it up. And a wipe with a tissue on the post/terminal of the X2 will work fine, and a swipe on the clearo connection, too. I have both the automatic and manual X2's, and the clearo's do deposit some juice on both now and again. I actually still prefer my carts, though they sometimes burn up too quickly for my tastes on the X2.

Does anyone know if the following flavors will destroy my clearomizers?
I just picked these up on sale from Vapor Dudes
Strawberry Lemonade
Totally Watermelon
Mocha Java Drizzle
Mango Ice

I have tried all of these in carts and they are awesome. But they still don't compare to my clearo's

I have used the mango ice, strawberry lemonade and watermelon in my clearos with no problems
