I'm using ECF Dark with win10. Hate that you are having so much trouble. You could pm me, maybe the problem is on your friend's end.
I've texted her to check her 'Conversations" and if it isn't there, to let me know, so that I can let ECF know there is a problem with messages ... It's late, so I may not hear until tomorrow....

I’m a bit perplexed...on my iPad I can see the likes, loves stuff at all. I can see that others have liked posts etc plus I can’t post unless I go to the top then scroll back down. Here on my phone I can do everything. Is the new server dependent on the OS you’re on? My iPhone is updated to the latest, my iPad isn’t.

I opted out of email notifications a long time ago, so can't speak to that problem, but my Alerts don't work well at all. People quote me and tag me and otherwise rate my posts and I get maybe 20% of those via my Alerts. And I'm on my PC most of the time (W10, Chrome).

Search is pretty much dead and the Most Relevant option is gone altogether. Is it going to come back? I have to use Google if I want to find anything on ECF. Very inconvenient and not at all reliable. I can't even find my own recent posts.

And that back arrow in quoted posts is not working properly, either.

I'm not real tech savvy, and my IPad is a hand me down from my wife, it's probably eight years old now. Since the move, I cannot see avatars and the like buttons are invisible. I also cannot see emojis within posts. This has made my experience here somewhat less than desirable, and frustrating.

Sometimes I can refresh a page anywhere from 5-10 times to get the stuff mentioned to load properly. I can also tap on where the like buttons should be, and the rainbow one will will pop up, then I can undo rating and the rating icons will display.

In my case this move has been a total fail, and it has ruined my enjoyment of this fine community...my enthusiasm is waning, and I really don't think I'll be here much longer.

Thanks for all the good times along the way, it has been a blast...

Do you know why they would do this?
Spam algorithms aren't intelligent in the human sense or are only as intelligent as the coder. G.I.G.O.
You might have to go to the provider's webmail site and add ECF to your contacts list.
If the mail server's spam filter sees a lot of incoming mail from a specific domain it has no way of knowing whether friend or foe.
It isn't necessarily that they're blocking ECF on purpose. Though if mail from ECF has for some reason been flagged as Spam then...

I have Comcast/Xfinity... On those threads that I've elected to get emails for, it's random....just as my alerts are here on ECF. Some come through....but not all...
Same here. The alerts are intermittent.

Oh, Enaud... I'm so terribly sorry to hear that. I really am. You've been here for so many years and helped so many people, new and experienced alike. Heck, I'm still grateful to you for letting me know that I can use Aspire BVC coils in my Kanger STM...

We've already lost a bunch of good and useful features, familiar layout, distinctive look and functionality of the old ECF, and now we're losing valuable members. For what? More silly icons, round avatars and a pulsating dot? Please somebody convince me that it's all worth it.

There's a pulsating dot? Kewel...I'm using the E-Cigarette Forum style and it looks pretty much like b4.
I don't think Enaud will disappear completely. We all suffer from forum overload occasionally
and lately playing on ECF has been frustrating... I do feel his pain.

Oh yes! I just switched for a second to Aluminum--just to make sure--and there's a green big pulsating dot right above your avatar, dear, to let me know that you're online. ;) I disabled mine.

So do I, but I hear that my ECF skin will not be supported in the future...

I hope so, too. This forum is nothing without its members. And so many good ones have left already...

Exactly the same thing I go through on my iPad. And I also share your feelings of moving on. I'm sad because I've made many many friends here but I feel like I'm being punished because I don't have the latest and greatest software and equipment. I was advised to update my Safari which would require hooking up my iPad to a computer which I don't have access to or installing Firefox which isn't an option because I don't have that much storage left and don't want to use it up installing another web browser because Safari works just fine for any other site I visit.
