Do you know why they would do this? We've discovered that some providers are blocking ECF emails.
I've texted her to check her 'Conversations" and if it isn't there, to let me know, so that I can let ECF know there is a problem with messages ... It's late, so I may not hear until tomorrow....I'm using ECF Dark with win10. Hate that you are having so much trouble. You could pm me, maybe the problem is on your friend's end.
Do you know why they would do this?
my iPad isn’t.

Ditto!Alerts don't work well at all. People quote me and tag me and otherwise rate my posts and I get maybe 20% of those via my Alerts. And I'm on my PC most of the time (W10, Chrome).
Spam algorithms aren't intelligent in the human sense or are only as intelligent as the coder. G.I.G.O.Do you know why they would do this?
Same here. The alerts are intermittent.I have Comcast/Xfinity... On those threads that I've elected to get emails for, it's random....just as my alerts are here on ECF. Some come through....but not all...
In my case this move has been a total fail, and it has ruined my enjoyment of this fine community...my enthusiasm is waning, and I really don't think I'll be here much longer.
Thanks for all the good times along the way, it has been a blast...

There's a pulsating dot? Kewel...I'm using the E-Cigarette Forum style and it looks pretty much like b4.Oh, Enaud... I'm so terribly sorry to hear that. I really am. You've been here for so many years and helped so many people, new and experienced alike. Heck, I'm still grateful to you for letting me know that I can use Aspire BVC coils in my Kanger STM...
We've already lost a bunch of good and useful features, familiar layout, distinctive look and functionality of the old ECF, and now we're losing valuable members. For what? More silly icons, round avatars and a pulsating dot? Please somebody convince me that it's all worth it.![]()

I don't think Enaud will disappear completely.

and wow on that pulsating thing!you made me check it out, tweety!i had no idea how grateful i should be living under the protection of my ecf shell!

Exactly the same thing I go through on my iPad. And I also share your feelings of moving on. I'm sad because I've made many many friends here but I feel like I'm being punished because I don't have the latest and greatest software and equipment. I was advised to update my Safari which would require hooking up my iPad to a computer which I don't have access to or installing Firefox which isn't an option because I don't have that much storage left and don't want to use it up installing another web browser because Safari works just fine for any other site I visit.I'm not real tech savvy, and my IPad is a hand me down from my wife, it's probably eight years old now. Since the move, I cannot see avatars and the like buttons are invisible. I also cannot see emojis within posts. This has made my experience here somewhat less than desirable, and frustrating.
Sometimes I can refresh a page anywhere from 5-10 times to get the stuff mentioned to load properly. I can also tap on where the like buttons should be, and the rainbow one will will pop up, then I can undo rating and the rating icons will display.
