Well here I am! And I think I'm here to stay. I'm Nicole! I dripped some of my friends heavenly tobacco today. Wow! just put in an order for a 15ml for me and 15 ml for my mom. I was blown away! I cannot wait to try their other flavors, as soon as my bank account allows. lol
:sniff: maybe I've finally found a home. :p:D;)

Welcome NF. We'll be able to help you pick your next flavors. Hang around. A bit quiet tonight but it'll pick up.

Hey peeps! I officially joined the "Army" yesterday... I got three sample packs (yowsa!) of varying flavors, a 6ml bottle of caramel apple tobacco, a 6ml bottle of heavenly army, and two protanks.

Right off the bat, I tested out my first flavor of crackberry in the protank, and was impressed! After a while, I realized that I wasn't getting much flavor and took a break. I put some angel's kiss into an evod, and muuuuch better! Seems like I'm missing a lot of flavor with the protank - I feel a little disappointed with that :<

Anyway, I'm excited to try the tobacco flavors I got (caramel apple tobacco, heavenly army, heavenly tobacco, is dragon's fire in that too?) but I've never tried any tobacco juices from any vendors yet. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intimidated by these tobacco flavors. I will have no idea if these need to steep longer because I don't know what to expect. Lol. Right now, they've been steeping in my closet with the caps and drippers off for almost 24 hours and they're all tiny bottles so it shouldn't take long, I would think, right?

To think these little 3-6 ml bottles of liquid are making me nervous, like a box of snakes, seems silly, I know. The fear of the unknown I guess. Haha ;)

Which one would you guys recommend I try first out of the ones I listed above to get my feet wet into the tobacco line?

Thanks in advance and wish me luck! =)

Howdy, Sassington! I've noticed some of the fruit flavors tend to start out on the weak side and mature into really tasty juices - Black & Blue, for instance, was like that and so was ParrotHead. I bought 30ml bottles of each, so I knew they needed some time. You may have gotten a really fresh made sample that didn't have much time to steep, so I'd give it some more time steeping and come back to it. You may be surprised. Then again, you might not.

As far as the tobacco flavors go, you've got most of the popular ones in your list, flip a coin! You're bound to find one you like. I never thought I'd be into tobaccos either when I first started vaping. I figured I'd have to stay as far away as possible from them as not to be tempted to go back to analogs. Man, was I ever wrong! I do enjoy the non tobacs too, but can't stay with them all day like I can with the NETs.

Thank you! I couldn't help myself this morning and loaded up an evod with dragon's fire... I left the caps and drippers off for nearly 48 hours.. I wasn't blown away, honestly, but I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt since I have nothing to compare it to.. It's fine, don't get me wrong, but right now it's not an adv for me at this point. I'll still give it time to grow on me. This is my first taste of a tobacco flavor and I've been doing fruits and desserts up to now. It's a bit of a transition for me.
I get antsy with letting juices steep because I've gotten burned with trying a flavor fresh from the mail and it was mind blowing.. A week later, it's junk and won't wick at all. It's disappointing to say the least. I'm guilty of getting my hopes up fairly easy.
Baby steps, I suppose. ;)

My first vape of a tobacco NET was Pirate's Booty. I was...hmmmm this is different. After the 3ml sample was gone, I was verrrrrry sad.

Unless you've been exposed to exotic pipe tobacco or cigars, it's not unusual that you have nothing to compare them to. NET, in case you don't know means Naturally Extracted Tobacco flavor. HHV uses exotic tobaccos for most of their tobacco line and since their extracts are coming from real tobaccos they age with time and can vary from harvest to harvest, just as wines do. Sometimes this a good thing, and sometimes not so good depending on climate, soil conditions, etc.

Aside from all that, it does tend to take some time for some to acquire a taste for NETs, just as it does for fine wines. Explore them with an open mind and a clean palate. Furthermore, how long have you been off analogs? It takes as long as 6 months for some people's taste buds to fully recover from the beating we put them through while smoking. So as Bronze says, vape it till you like it. If a flavor doesn't appeal to you now, put it up for a week or two and try another. Then go back and see if those odd flavors have changed at all.

I quit menthol analogs the end of March. When I was a full time (Marlboro lights) smoker, I was a PAD one, and then my husband quit, which forced me to quit... And I did so for a year or so, but they always kept talking to me. I eventually started up again but with menthols, and it was one or two a day. Gradually, I got up to a half a pack a day, mainly because my work and home life didn't allow me to smoke. I knew I had to do something to quit, which is how I ended up here.

I get that it's an acquired taste, the NETs, but as of right now, I can't get past the smell of the tobaccos for some reason. It sounds stupid. I ended up pouring the contents of my evod back into the bottle to give it more time to mature and give it another try another day. The best way I can describe what happened was that I enjoyed the flavor but the aftertaste was almost.... tinny? I guess that's how someone who is inexperienced like me, would describe the taste of true tobacco - maybe.

I don't know. I'm not giving up. I'll try another flavor soon I think. I hope this the easy "acquired taste" for me - I don't like beer or wine, either.... Never did acquire the taste for those, lol.

All I can say, Sassington, is to put the Dragon up for a while and enjoy the fruit flavors you have. I really don't think you have to worry about any of the NETs going bad with age, it's almost the opposite. I've only heard of a couple HHV beverage juices that didn't do well with age, Mocha Java Smooth comes to mind. However, I have a bottle that's over 5 months old and to me it's still vapable. The taste hasn't changed that much at all.

In a month or so, bring the Dragon back out and see if he's changed his tune. As Bronze would say, "Vape it till you like it."

Oh, Congrats on staying off the analogs! :toast:

Thanks buddy! :D I'm definitely going to give it some time to "mature" before I give it another go.. Couldn't hurt :)

OK. I’m James. Been vaping for a little over a year. Currently I’m vaping HHV Heavenly waffle and blueberry muffin.like most…started vaping to stop smoking.

I’m a bit of a “born-again fitness freak.” I spent the majority of my childhood, teens, and 20s being overweight and decided to to something about it, finally, in my mid 30s. so…I stopped pounding beer, started working out, and started eating right. lost a few pounds…

side note: that symbol on the bottom right is actually a tattoo design a friend of mine did for me. it's a flame lick that is built from the letters: "CCIV". Which is roman numerals for "304"...meant to symbolize my old weight burning away :D
