Mikey the ∞ uses a low current regulator ( 2 amps ) LR attys will not work very well and may trip the over current circuit in the IC , you will get a longer battery life using a 3 ohm atty .

LR attys were designed for 3.7 volt batteries they were IMO a stop gap measure to get TH and hotter vapor ( good for what they are but need to be used in the proper application ) .

The Infinity is designed to use regular attys and cartoz in the 2.0-3.5 ohm range , so any NON LR/HV attys can used .
The reason that they even came up with a LR atty was to match the ohms to the voltage.

With VV you just turn it up or down that simple,.

Hi Sylvia! Hi Mike! It's so exciting to see/meet new people over here! Welcome, welcome!

BTW,PI, your last post (with the hat) was a definite screen-sprayer, LOL.

Yes it was Pokey but honestly...that whirlygig on top gets all tangled in my curly hair!! I think PI planned that on purpose haha

Thanks for the info Mike :) was looking at the stuff on Ikenvapes... everyone seems very pleased with his stuff, but he only lists LR, HV and XHV for the 510's but his LR510's are listed at 2.0 ohms.. so that should work, right... figure want to go with the ohm rating rather than the LR/HV tag? any other suggestions on where to get good atty's? maybe some regular 306's all I seem to find are the LR306's

Ikenvape is out of a lot of things right now, he's been having supplier issues much the same as Mike did on the ∞ parts. 5Card or Mist might be able to steer you better, but I personally wouldn't go with a 2ohm atty...but that's just me. I can blow an atty faster than you can screw that sucker on lol. PI uses atties too, he might can suggest something for you.

Yes I do, and yes I will: the best quality/price combination I can find is Joye 510s (they very consistently come in at 2.2 Ohm) from Liberty Flights @ $28.79 for the 5-pack: Electronic Cigarette - Atomizers & Cones - Joye 510. They have them in a lot of different colors/materials; the stainless steel would probably go well with chrome.

Another good one is the Magma atty from Volcano (2.5 Ohm, $6.99 for 2 or more): Volcano Fine Electronic Cigarette Atomizer. You're stuck with black on those, though.

My age? I really hate to admit this but I smoked longer than many of you have been alive. It was a religion with me. But I knew the first day that I tried vaping that cigarettes were history for me. I bought my BUZZ in June and since then the spending stopped for PV’s. It took me about six months to find the right eliquid and during that time I gave that little screwdriver a real workout. About three months ago I found an AFS tank, works like a champ.
Finally I have my perfect PV, juice and delivery system. I haven’t changed my voltage in months. First thing every morning I change my batteries and load up about 3ml in the tank and I’m good to go for 24 hours. I’m as happy as a dog with two Wienerschnitzels.
But I do have a dilemma. I really would like to own an Infinity but I just can’t pull the trigger. I am going to read what you folks have to say about it and I’m sure you all will be happy. Perhaps you will change my mind. I already know Mike builds a superior product (maybe too good) and his service is second to none. Maybe some day I’ll buy an Infinity but I have a feeling my Buzz will out last me.

They're pretty much all made at one of two places anyway. Everyone just sticks their name on them. Ikenvape has his made to his own specs. I have one of his and it's the best one I've ever used but it's not 510. I use cartomizers 99.9 percent of the time. I think Bovinia uses Bruces from Clouds of Vapor and if he sells them you know they are good. I've dealt with him for a long time and he is a real stand up guy that knows his products. Ikenvape is also a great guy and I love the products of his I have used but I haven't used any of his attys except for the 801 mini and it is killer. I hear his 306s are great. At least everyone is raving about them. I have never tried them though.

Hi! Sounds like you've been a member of this crew awhile now! I think you are one of the lucky ones, you've found your sweet spot from the get go! But someday you might just want to play; and try the Until then HAPPY VAPIN! :)

Well they both are just made to vape with and if you don't need one I can understand not buying one. I have a bunch of mods that just sit since I got the Buzz. I gave a couple away but hey it only takes one to vape with. I can understand your position completely.

They're pretty much all made at one of two places anyway.

There's at least four that are distinctly different (although they might all be manufactured in two factories for all I know): Sailebao's are not so good; EastMall's are so-so (both of those are identifiable by the gold band); Joye's are kinda the Genuine GM Parts standard—which is not to say they're the best by any means. Janty's are pretty much the same in that regard, but they warrant them for 6 months—and price them accordingly.

I'm not sure where Volcano gets their Magma attys (obviously they don't make them themselves), but their internal architecture is clearly unlike all the others.

Unfortunately, IkenVape's start at 2.0 Ohms for both their 306s & 510s—a little to close to the edge of the cliff for my comfort—and then jump to 3.5 Ohm.

One other thing you might want to try, if just for fun: FreedomSmokeUSA sells de-bridged attys for $9 each (I don't know of anyone else that offers that surgical option): FreedomSmokeUSA

I got a 510 atty laying here that came with my original PV. It's been a little less than a yr. since I used it. They just take too much fuss for me. I am a carto guy all the way. If I did go back to using attys it would be Ikenvapes 801 mini HV. When I want to test juice flavor I use it and it is amazing. However I get more vapor, better taste off his fusion than any atty I've ever used without all the constant dripping.

Thanks for all the input PI, I have used LF before and like their stuff a lot... really just wanted to know if just the straight-up Joye 510's were the way to go with my new Infinity :) looks like I'll be set to go when it arrives!
As for the FSUSA debridged ones, well... I do that myself, and I think it works really well too, gotta admit the first time tearing apart my atty I was a bit nervous... LOL but it worked. I debridged a 306 also, don't know about that one though... the coil is so damn close to your mouth with those ones it may not be a great idea :( on the next one I think I'll just pull out the wicking material and leave the bridge in place to help keep the juice outta my mouth LOL, ordered some longer drip tips also.. that should help!

Kinda bummed about Ikenvapes atty's though.. really wanted to try his stuff, been hearing so many good things about his products... who knows, maybe I'll break down and try one of his Fusions that 5CS was talking about :)

OK first I'm Mike 48 yrs old and was a 1.5PAD smoker for 28+ years. Infinity is gift to self for hitting 6 month mark. Yes I reward myself when hitting milstones and find it is very gratifying. In NY smokes jumped to $10/pack so I can justify some significant spending on my new found hobby and still be ahead of the game.

Happy to hear that the unit will drive 2.0ohm stuff since I am sitting pretty on a bunch of Cisco 2.0 ohm 306's, 801's and 510's. I would love to get some Iken gear but as many have noticed there is a big issue with stock. Anyway I have been a huge fan of the Cisco atty's so whatever works and puts a smile on your face is all good.

Really looking forward to the new rig and thanks for placing such a nice looking VV Mod on the market. I am sure with all the rave reviews about the Notcig products that this MOD will be well used and produce many clouds for me. Here is hoping all goes well with the pending shipments and that you do not lose to much sleep with the production schedule. Best of luck and I hope sales are better than you expected. I will continue to support American designed and assembled MODs every chance I get. I don't think you can ever have to many cool gadgets!

Congratz on your 6month anniversary Mike #3! We're glad to have you here, and yes rewards are good!

Thanks Bovinia and hopefully todays storm wasn't to difficult. I know we are fighting some nasty freezing rain late today and this evening. I hate that crap it reeks havoc for ski conditions!!!
