I haven't even seen or heard of a Touchwood... but I would definitely go for a Legacy except for the bevelled top cap... I need lots of devices at this point; all functional for daily use... I like to have at least 4 rba's with a few different juices going daily.

Talking about druthers, yes, a full set Poldiac was a good deal when i got mine, but to sell for close to the same price for a 18350 is a bit weird.
On the other hand I had to buy the whole set, even though I don't use the other legs... same with some hybrids.

Ah its a mad world... and confusing too.

The Legacy is a quality mech that is fairly easy to get at about $90 dollars. It is pretty much built to work with a kick. Its durable and functions as it should.

The Touchwood is easily the classiest mech I have ever held. It consistently performs better and produces better conductivity than my 69. You can always get one so long as you don't mind waiting 3 weeks. IMO 3 weeks is nothing compared to months of waiting and never having the assurance of ever owning any of these unobtainable mechs. Its hand built at 85 euros for an 18650.

What I like the most about Ian's mechs is the 18500 costs less than the 18650 and the 18350 cost less than the 18500. I think its BS that an 18650 Carvella, or Poldiac costs the same as an 18500 or 18350. The same goes for several other mech mods out there regardless of exclusivity. Even the non-mech like the Provari. Its ridiculous that a mini is priced the same as a standard. Its like pricing a BMW 325 the same as a BMW 525. One is longer and has more room so why would you pay the same amount for a smaller version?

When it comes to brass tax you can't define any mech as being the best, because opinions and taste vary. Have the foresight to see that people here are typically going to argue for a mod they own.

Touchwood does look nice, though not too sure how my RBA's would look on there....

And yeah people will most certainly argue for the new shiny mod they own. Not many are going to say "Meh, its about the same as my other mods" after dropping silly money.

Lots of good things out there now and more coming up. Good times.

It will depend on your RBA.
Here it is with an AGA-S There is a gap, because I have it set up to sit flush with my drip atty.

Here it is with a 6ml tank. This photo is a little artsy fartsy, because I use it on my FB cover.

I've always wondered if these are kept in such short supply for the purpose of increasing the desire to own one. It's human nature to want what you cannot have.
I don't think this is the case; they do not have the means to keep up with mods like the REO, iHybrid, and Zenesis, and for that reason, do not deserve to be listed among the best, imo.

REVIEW OF THE TOUCHWOOD JARRAH ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE - YouTube

Drawbacks its a wood mod so you can't kick it unless you moded it up, but with an 18wide battery there isn't any realist ate to do that. You would have to bore it out and I wouldn't want to risk ruining it. Only thing I can think of would be gold or brass foil thin enough to fit around the battery and still fit in the tube. Not sure how hard that is to find.

Double edge sword- the 510 threading on the connector is brass. Great for conductivity, slightly less durable than stainless steel. Ian the craftsman recommends brass or aluminum adapters, because stainless steel will destroy the threads over time. As far as I know all RBA's have stainless steel threading. So far I have just been really gentle when threading attys. But I am searching for brass adapters.

China exports more products than any nation, does that mean they have better products than anyone else? Zenesis, are sold out. We won't see any iHybrids until later this month. REO has products, but what they have in stock is limited. The mods you have listed may be a little easier to get but not that much easier. With your logic (I assume you are referring to supply) an ego-twist is the best. There isn't anywhere I go I can't buy an ego.

Call me the odd man out but I think the odyssey should be up there in theses lists. 14500 battery so it's a little sleeker then a drain pipe, perfect finish, looks cool, etc.

I almost bought an Odyssey, it was the battery that turned me away. No doubt its a classy pv. Something to take to the office.

always interested... so please post any info.
Mech mods coming out soon: Astro, Nemesis, GP Paps v2.1... Thoughts?
I just hooked up with a Wizard's Apprentice 500...in the mail... it may have an electronic switch, but from what i hear, it does fine with sub 1.0 ohms Genesis atomizers (the Wand Ti)... so where does that fit?

For the Astro, can find them on facebook under KoreaVape. That's scheduled to be released in about 20 minutes. Nemesis thread for its release: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/euro-suppliers/387836-new-projects-atmomixani.html.

That FB page right now is making me ragey. People can't read, tell time, ask the same question over and over even though the asnwer is just a few posts up. I don't think half of them will be smart enough to fill out the form.

hehe yeah... been watching for the past few days and well, many don't want to read up ^^. Iaan has a lot of patience lol. :vapor:

Yeah poor guy. I got a good feeling on the Astro, heard good things about the other mods from Kato.

They ship out next month, so the real hilarity will begin around end of May when all these people flood Mod Trader/Classies/etc trying to get crazy money for them.

Do they all have silver plated contacts? Nemesis... a few different styles / finishes. Poldiac uses silver and I am a bit ambivalent about that material for maintanence...

Looks nice, but the Dome looks pretty awesom...

Nemesis has silver plated but Astro has brass contacts. GP Paps is either silver or gold plated brass, I think? Not too sure about that one. I prefer silver plated since silver is the most conductive metal. Every night when I put away the poldiacs, I just wipe the contacts quickly with a cloth specifically made for silver plated jewelry, seems to be working fine. Once a month it goes in it's jacuzzi hehe (the ultrasonic bath).
