What do you do for a living? And how does you place of business take to your PV?

im a tech sales/customer service person. my boss's cousin sells PV's so she already knew what they were. said company policy is no ciggs of any kind at the desk but whatever you do in the bathroom is your own business. I live in NJ where you can get a fine for vaping indoors but shee don't know that } there is a reg bathroom four stalls etc and a smaller handicaped bathroom with seperate entrace. since i'm crippled lol i have exuse to use the handicapped. it has 2 light switches and when i go in there to vape (atleast an hour and a half of the day) its like a cool smokers lounge. the other crips in the office that use that bathroom havn't complained cause i guess theres no smell or they think the smell is air freshener. when i vape maple that place really smells like a pancake house but agian...no complaints.

I do IT at a place that makes... ummm... devices that throw lightning bolts at heavy elements to produce radiation. Or just throw lightning bolts for the EMP effect (we built a Faraday Cage in the back-lot out of cargo containers so we don't knock aircraft on approach to Oakland out of the sky while testing a unit - in the words of Steven Wright, "that kills me..." )

I sit at a workbench with 2 smokers. In an alcove off the main lab, sit two non-smokers. When I first got my PV, I went out for "smoke breaks" same as I did when I smoked analogs. They can't smell anything anyway, so just giggle when I vape in the lab. After a couple days, I went into the alcove and asked the two non-smokers there if they had noticed any strange smells or anything recently; they said no.

I then showed them the 510 I'm vaping from, and (of course being tech geeks) they got all fascinated by it and wanted to know how it works, etc. So, I have the permission of everyone in the lab to vape at work.

I have not mentioned it to the boss (she rarely comes into the lab, and I can "stealth" if she enters while I've got a puff in me), but the EH&S guy smokes and has given his blessing for me to vape anywhere indoors I like.

I tend to still vape out in the smoking area, both to "satisfy the habit" of the "ritual" of smoking to make it easier to keep off the analogs, and to... well, just get away from my desk every now and again!

It is nice to have the EH&S guy on board, however, since he's the one any "antis" would go to if someone were to be "offended" by my vaping indoors.

My husband and I are Table Games (Blackjack, etc.) dealers at a casino in Tampa.

We started a trend of vaping, and at first, we were all vaping outside with the smokers. When it got cold, we moved just inside the doors in the hallway (there are chairs there). We've had Security, Tribal Gaming, and Shift Managers walk by and no one's really said anything other than "Cool!"

In the next couple weeks, our shift is having a meeting with the man who's running the casino, so I'm going to try and find some stuff to print up and give to him, so we can hopefully get the 'official' ok to vape inside when we want to.

I'm a researcher in an academic setting, and work part time in an out patient mental health setting - i vape in my office but (obviously) not on the lab itself, i vape in the staff room but not in front of the clients. No problems either place. Everyone is just glad that i'm not smoking.

I definitely vape less at work than I used to smoke, and all my co-workers are convinced I quit smoking (which I did), but I've not introduced them to my eGo. I only use it 2 or 3 times in the bathroom during a normal shift. Sometimes when I am all alone in my kiosk (usually for 2-4 hours, depending on the day/traffic/staff on board (only 4 people work in the kiosk)) I will stealth vape. So far no one has even seen anything, including the 6 surrounding stores, which enclose employees, who, for the most part, have nothing else to do than basically stare out the window - directly AT my kiosk, in the middle of the mall...

Im a Scuba Instructor and Correctional officer. I am to new at it to notice a big difference in Scuba diving however i know in the long run it will make a significant difference. As for my job in corrections I know there will be no difference in how it affects my time on the job because of strict rules in my state for correctional officers and inmates i cannot do anything that even simulates smoking around inmates.

Full time student. Tobacco is banned on campus. I vape in the bathroom (feel like a druggie doing it that way sometimes) and when walking between buildings. Campus cops (seriously, they train cops at my school) have seen me and said nothing. Could be cuz it's cold out and you can see your breath. I'll know for sure in the spring.

I'm an account clerk at the Clifty Falls State Park and I set right at the front desk and vape my day away.....as long as no one is in as a customer. I do a lot of data entry and phone service too, so no interference there. My boss has never disapproved because he knows I don't do it in front of anyone and he probably figures I don't take as many analog breaks, now.

It Tech at a manufacturing facility. No one seems to care and a lot of people are talking about ordering their own. My boss had one for a while which is what got me interested, but he is not "the" boss so I still keep it as low key as I can without actually hiding.

Another techie here...I am an online banking Analyst for a local bank. I basically make sure that customers are not having trouble accessing their online banking and that the balance files are correct

...and I scour the net for PV and new cell phone stuff (I am also a self admitted cell phone addict)

I vape at my desk all day with no issues thus far...I sit right outside of my bosses office and she and several others know, though I try and be respectful about it and not blatantly obvious.

AHAHAHAH. I wish it were that easy. My kiosk is built in - as in a permanent mall fixture. Now if there were a SE kiosk (and again, unfortunately there is not), it would probably be one on wheels, and I'd make sure they set up right next to me. That would be freakin' sweet.

We're all techies playing with our techie toys. How could life be any better?!

As ironic as this sounds, I work at a smoke shop, lol. I vape all day here and my boss doesn't mind. He was just hoping that I won't get a nicotine OD on the job, since I can't put my PV down for more than a minute, lol. Does this make me a bad person?! Lol.

Paramedic/Shift Supervisor.
Believing open and honest is the best, I walked into the director's office the first day with my 510. Being an ex smoker he was on-board right away. The Operations Sup is a non-smoker and is fascinated. He thinks Atomic Fireball is amazing, and wanted to know if it would be bad for him to use 0 nic liquid.
So far I have free reign to vape in the stations and ambulances. I can't imagine pulling it out in front of patients, but now wonder if it would be a good part of a "you need to stop smoking" lecture.
I even pulled it out in an ER the other day to show a bunch of ER staff.
Everyone has been very supportive so far!
