Don't even THINK about taking my rotary phone away, for one of those new-fangled thingamajigs.

You have your fantasies, and I have mine.
I also have a manual 6 speed transmission in one of my cars....Has more power and engine control thru the use of gears than one of those new new-fangled automatic transmissions...Plus its a blast to drive....:)
Dead battery? No problem just get it rolling and release the clutch... Newer technology is not always better, its just easier for those who don't want to do the work..... I love my Provari-I love my SuperT Mechanical... Lets just not mix them up.. One more thing the Provari VV chip is not a new-fangled thingamajig...DNA30 WW board is where its at. At least for the time being :thumb:

Kicks don't do it for me (been there, done that), and I've had a bunch of DNA20's (one in front of me right now, in fact). No need for 30 here (no need for 20 here, if I must be honest). They're good, but I'd prefer a buck circuit too, since I'm a low-watt-woosy-vaper.

For me (just ME), I'd REALLY LIKE a Super T with a Provari chip. And if I want to mix them up, in my fantasy, then you can bet your hiney that I will. ;)

I drive a 6 speed too.

I agree with you...30 watts, what am I going to do with that? For me 10 watts is a real sweet spot but lately I have adjusted to 12 watts. When I go much higher I feel over dosed on nicotine.. Kick2 is much more reliable then the Kick, better contact pins. Provari, I will never get rid of mine as it's chip has stood the test of time.. Proven track record...

Until a little juice fries the OLED display....but that never happens....oh yeah....it already has.....:D

I really wonder how a DNA box will survive a rainstorm or being dropped in the snow. I guess it depends on the mod designer.

So - I shouldn't throw my Hana into the toilet? Is that what you're saying??? Because I really want a mod that I can throw into the toilet...

(Sorry, P., but I couldn't resist)

I, for one, commend opus for his pioneering efforts in the field of vaping gear science... :headbang:

Hey.....If it survives the toilet, then you know it will survive a drop in a puddle, a drop in the surf, or a drop in the pool.

The toilet is just funnier.......

I say keep all your fantasies intact. Fantasy is underrated, and yours and mine do have some similarities. ;)

I'd buy a super t dna 30 kicklet. Heck, after receiving my Simplicity I'd buy super t anything. I also own everything Provape sells. I'd buy a Hana's Mods any day as well. If it does what you need it to do, rock it.

Now, on a new provari, I'd like to see a minimum 5 amp limit. I'd also like to see a backlit led screen. If Samsung can make one that small, provape can use it. I'd love to see multiple size options (26500/26650) and precious metal contacts as well. I'd pay well over the current msrp for that mod, and I firmly believe much of the faithful would too.

Just my opinion.
Be excellent to each other... And vape on dudes!

Perhaps it's your beloved DNA that sucks at 7 watts.. How accurate is it, again?
My ProVari is awesome at 6-6.5 watts...
Its very accurate.. I just tested it with an inline voltage meter. ZNA @ 7 watts with a 2.8 ohm HH357 fires @ 4.6 volts (DNA30 voltage reading) 4.42 volts under load(inline meter reading) = 7 watts
Provari using same HH357 2.8 ohm set @ 4.4 volts since there is no voltage drop under load = 7 watts
SAME WEAK VAPOR PRODUCTION. Yes there is enough vapor but it does not have the warmth and density of a 12 watt vape. I understand that is what you are use to so you think its a good vape. But when you get use to a hotter vape nothing else will satisfy . Back in the day (4 1/2 years ago) I vaped @ 3.7 volts with SR attys.. Then came LR attys and that was better. I remember the first time I tried a 2 battery stack 6 volt vape.. Made me sick, to hot to much nicotine.. Today I vape at those levels as it has become my norm..

I answered the question already.. Yes the Provari is bullet proof for the most part.. DNA30, we will see how it holds up to years of usage..

And how about when you start going below 2 ohms down there?

Don't bother, I already know the answer to that...

Anyway, I've already gone up to 14.5-15 watts on my ProVari a while back.. All set with that, thanks

Believe it or not, not everybody enjoys vaping the way you do..

Different strokes, different folks...

How's the Provari do at 15.5 watts? There's a device out there for just about everyone.

Believe it or not, my provape1 will fire a lower resistance coil than my provari v2.

The end of your comment fits just fine.

15.5 watts? Don't know, don't care.. The higher it got on its way to 14.5/15, the more & more I hated it.. Just like the other guy doesn't like 7 watts on his DNA (which is inaccurate at those lower levels on coils less than 2 ohms)... And weak vapor production at 7 or below? I'd beg to differ -- not with my topper & juice & vaping technique..

If V3 has a DNA 20/30 chip, then I'm not buying one, simple as that.. Seems like many current ProVari owners probably won't, and my V2.5 will become that much more valuable on the secondary market... Cut off your core group of customers, in hopes of gaining some new ones? Not a very wise business move...

Perfectly happy with the current chip in there.. I'm not the one going around saying that it's outdated & inferior, and that ProVape should use another chip that's "where it's at" -- which on some levels, actually isn't...

Cloud-chasing is funny as all heck.. and I can respect it.. I give props to what the Gi2 can do, for example... Doesn't mean I'm going to get one.. and I'm definitely not going to crash their forum & tell them to put a ProVape chip in there, instead, because it's probably more accurate & reliable, and because I like vaping at lower watts...
