2 days ago before I got my provari, I would of said VW, but as I always use kayfuns, it doesn't matter, set it to 3.9volts and that's where it will stay.

The only thing I would like to see, is the option to have a flat top version, I have a ring, but don't like how it just sits on top, when taking off the kayfun, I knock the ring off too, so that would be my only add to a v3

    - Removing the way the Provari fires whenever you check the battery or the ohms. Now that I'm getting into rebuildables, I'd like my Provari to be able to check the ohms before firing so no mishaps happen. I'm going to have to either use my MVP 2 for checking the ohms or buy an ohm meter. That and I always feel obligated to take a mini drag whenever it's firing after I check which is mentally frustrating.

Is there another PV that checks battery/Ωs while under load? I've not seen one and I like that feature a lot. I have a gazillion Pvs and they will show the battery charge/Ωs but not under load.

All my rings for the exception of the Hippo V2 just sit there.

If they added an Ego Cone thread, they could then allow the user to choose the type of collar/beauty ring they like (flat or taper), and even allow for people to buy color coordinated colors if they choose.

Kill two birds with one stone.

Yeah, it's status is in my avatar.....Let's just say things didn't turn out so well.

You can read the whole saga here. It started off ok, but eventually it went down the toilet....literally

    Thanks P.

I was mainly thinking of it for outdoors work, such as snow removal and what not. I'll read your entire experience then consider it all. I definitely don't plan on submerging it, but it's good to know that it's not "toilet-friendly" (so to speak).

For snow removal it should be ok. During my testing, I did to a spill test on the battery door and it failed miserably. There is no gasket or anything on the battery door, so any standing water on the door side will get into the compartment.

The "water resistance" it officially supports is basically nothing more than spray protection, but the Utube videos on this product showed much more tortuous tests. So I decided to do those type of tests.

I went with ProVari since it is easy to "dry out" if I did do something to it, to ruin it, then I can get it repaired. A lot of Provari users report survival from drops in puddles, snow, and the toilet, and after adequate air drying it works.... That's good enough for me.

1- Move the On-Off function to the front of the menu or create a separate power switch button. The 10 click thing to power on & checking the LED when I want to vape quicky is annoying (but only twice as much as the 5 click thing on your average ego clone).

2- Add an auto shutoff timer to the menu with adjustable increments in minutes to remove the need for the OFF function entirely.

Two years in and the next time I turn mine off will be the first time.

I understand the concept, but if you click it by accident it will turn off, instead of just raising the voltage. I'd thought about that before, and decided I like it better the way it is. Turning DOWN first might be a better option (to avoid burns), but I'm nitpicking with that one.

Yeah, I know this is a hot topic. But on the off chance that the people at ProVape have missed these threads, (which is actually pretty high, since they all ended up in the ProVari forum) I figured I would start one here. I'll list off the more commonly requested changes, just to start things off. For myself, I'm rather happy with my V1 ProVari.

Variable Wattage. Why people lust after VW, I'll never know (I've already heard all the reasons); but there are literally hundreds of people refusing to buy a ProVari because they expect the next version to have VW.

Higher Voltage/Wattage. They want at least 25 watt capability and the higher amp limit to handle it.

Flat Top Design. Some want a straight up flat top, others want a modular design that allows for both flat and tapered tops (and/or the ability to make a hybrid style mod).

Multiple Buttons. (I feel this would detract from the durability factor of the ProVari, as it introduces more points of possible failure).

Get rid of the Crop Circles. There may not be more people who dislike the grip grooves on the full size ProVari, but they are vocal in their dislike.

Provarinati Themed Custom End Caps. Not a version 3 upgrade per se, but something near and dear to my heart. :D A three pack would be perfectly acceptable, containing the Eye of Ra Sigil, "Provarinati," & "Lumen Sees Totus."

More Color Options. Self explanatory. People want metallic, candy, etc.

Updated Display. Specifically, a Dot Matrix style military grade display, in keeping with the ProVari's reputation for durability.

Low Sub-oHm Capability. (In my opinion) the people asking for this feature ought to be given white dinner jackets with wrap around sleeves.

Ability to Upgrade V1 & V2 ProVari to V3. Self explanatory.

Get rid of the "--" in the Menu. It's unnecessary, and adds to the perceived clunkiness of the menu.

Reorder the Menu Functions. Basically, move the "On/Off" function to the end of the menu. It is probably the least used function on there.

Got more ideas? Go ahead and add them.

Perfect! You can get all those features now (or a year ago) at 25% of the cost on a Plethora of APVs.
