What does your Avatar mean to you?

OK, I enjoyed reading the thread about Where'd you get that name. Some really made me laugh. Members here also have some interesting Avatars so I thought it would also be interesting as well to find out what they mean to you. As some of you may have guessed, mine is my Family Crest.

This violent, all-powerful guy here is the antagonist personality-part of a protagonist's D.I.D. (Disassociative Identity Disorder). The protagonist is a character named 'Fei' from the best RPG I've ever played to date: 'Xenogears'. It was released on the PSone in 98.

Anyway, the avatar's name is Id. Google the video game for more info.
Or you can google 'Xenogears: God and Mind'. It's a website dedicated to the lore of the game, wallpapers, downloads, themes, cheats, hints, etc.

Oh, and the quote at the top of the pic reads, "Ye shall be as gods."

My avatar represents me and my career...I work with computers, thus the name "Perkiekat" comes from a nic name I received a few years ago and it stuck. Perkie = respresents my personality and Kat = is the first three letters of my first name. Therefore...PERKIEKAT was born!

Mine is a photo of me while on vacation in the Caribbean. This was taken on a catamaran in Antigua.

However, what it's come to represent to me is frustration. When I signed up for the forum, I linked it to my Facebook page. Now, no matter what pic I try to upload, it still uses the one from my Facebook page. I don't want to change that one... but this one...well yeah.

This is Toasty, the best little rat I ever had. He loved to drink tea with me. He had his own little bowl that he would hang around in anticipation of some. He thought he owned the house, an absolute character. Even people who had a phobia of rats ended up liking him.
The first day I got him, I was snuggling him on my cheek, and told him he was toasty warm. Hence, Toasty. He died recently, I buried him out back and marked his grave with my tea cup, and his little tea bowl.

Damn, makes me tear up. Excuse me, I gotta make tea and go give him a visit.

Mine is a drawing of a cat I had for many years named Krowe. She was a fine kitty and died a couple of years ago. My son's have a website where they will do these whimsical drawings of your pet and you can get them on tee shirts or coffee mugs; stuff like that. so this is Krowe as she is on a tee shirt I have..
