I'm running the crown tank or cleito on my Joyetech. I don't have issues with coil or tank getting hot at all was just wondering if it would cause my juice to run out quicker. I've noticed the first few tanks on a new coil last longer I get well over 200-250 puffs then it drops to around 150-160 puffs a tank I only go through 3-4 4 ml tanks a day ml max a day

You are missing out! It cost like $1 per 30ml bottle to diy.

Dunno where your from. I'm guessing the states. You should check out DIY E-Liquid, Electronic Cigarettes and Wholesale Nicotine & E-Cig Juice | EcigExpress. They have everything you need to diy and free shipping over $60 (within the states)

well i'd DIY but i prefer buying locally and i can't seem to find any flavors locally i heard "bakery supply" but i can't even find one with decent flavors that dont have oil or alcohol in them...i'm in LA

Right now I run 2 tanks, a 0.2 ohm SS herakles plus pre-made and a 0.53 ohm 26g 316L in a subtank mini rba v1.

I can chain vape the Subtank at 25w all day long, but I need 40-50w for the H+ and if I chain vape it the tank heats my cuboid to high heaven. Not so bad on my segelei 150w, but I love using tc.

Anxiously awaiting my Griffen 25mm hoping I can build it to chain vape around 30w with SS dual coil.
@SirLoki really ?? That's strange I have the cuboid and run either my crown tank with a .5 between 40-60 or .25 between 55-80 and can vape all day. Also have a cleito I run fairly high and my cuboid is nice and cool.

I was at my local vape shop today and some guy said you should wait 30 seconds between vapes to let the coil cool down? True or false? I noticed I get more puffs out of a tank the first few tanks and then it drops considerably. The guy was saying its due to chain vaping because the coil was getting hotter. I'll take a few puffs with less then 30 seconds in between and then have at least a minute break in between those. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.

Vape time and coil/wick quality depend on a lot of things.

Generally a lower resistance coil will run hotter and can potentially heat up the atomizer due to heat transfer, the device may become warm from that too. It's completely normal unless it's too hot to touch.

Chain vaping, or vaping with small intervals between drags will not hurt your coils as long as they stay saturated, the most that will happen is that the atomizer will get warm, so will the liquid its its a tank.

Wick usage time greatly depends on the type of liquid. Dark or sugary liquids will gunk up coils quicker and in return degrade vape performance over time.

I noticed that once I made the switch to unflavored I can have wicks last months. I have one RTA wick that is probably 6 months old or more, and it performs just fine and doesn't look bad at all, the coils are just a bit dark.

@Vapin4Real damn 3 weeks seriously? What coil? And what wattage? How do you prime your coils?
Using the .5 coils at 40 watts. As far as priming I just do a standard prime. Then let it sit in the tank for about 5 mins and inch it up starting at around 20 watts. I have 2 tanks and have 3 weeks on one and 2 weeks on the other. Still taste as delicious as the day i got them. I will say this... it takes about half a tank to get the coil broken in so dont get discouraged if it doesnt taste great right at the beginning. I think a lot of people expect these coils to come out of the gate running but you gotta have patience. I am also using a 50/50 cereal vape in one and a max VG dessert vape in the other. Mmmm mmm mmmmm. Lovin it!

@MattyTny thanks for the explanation. Makes sense :) I'll have to try flavorless see how that is :) but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't hurting my device or batteries so since I know that it's perfectly fine I'm happy. I don't find I'm going through coils that fast. They are lasting 7 days or more!
