Have to say I was surprised that cartotanks were not listed by either Baditude or Beck...what is the world coming to????

i've moved on for convenience. (keeping a minimalistic approach since i'm trucking)
wife has i̶n̶h̶e̶r̶i̶t̶e̶d̶ proclaimed dominance over my carto tank stash.

We all move on, don't we? For nearly two years cartotanks were my mainstay juice attachment and I was very happy with their performance. Compared to clearomizers and a trial with Genesis-style RBAs, they proved to be dependable, consistant, relatively trouble free, with excellent flavor. I still keep a couple cartotanks on the side for different flavors.

I was PIF'd a Kayfun Lite Plus a few months ago, and have been impressed with its overall performance, convenience, and simplicity. I call it a cartotank on steroids, as it works with negative pressure like a cartotank. It has become my main juice attachment. I wish it had a more open draw; I'm not about to attempt to drill out the air holes on a $100 tank. It's a minor inconvenience to empty/tear down the tank to change the wick every 3 - 5 days.

Being on a fixed low income, I like not having to change the coil every 10 - 20 days like I would with a clearo or carto. I simply dry burn the coil between wick changes - my current coil is 7 weeks old. A years supply of wire and cotton is cheap, so I'm saving money using rebuildables.

I've recently gotten into rebuildable drip atomizers, too. I like the open draw (drilled out the airholes larger), the lung inhales as opposed to tanks mouth inhales, and vapor production (still not a cloud chaser). I enjoy the convenience of changing flavors at will, but hate having to carry a bottle(s) of juice with me everywhere; so I generally use my Provari/KFL+ combo when out-and-about.

You CAN teach an old dog new tricks.

Completely understand. I don't have any cartotanks running currently but every time I load one up I'm shocked at how well they perform and how great the flavor is. Always makes me wonder why I don't run them all the time.

For some reason I've been off the KFL bandwagon lately, broke mine down and haven't used it in a few months actually. Guess I've been chasing drippers mostly but I'm sure I'll swing back around and wonder why I ever stopped using my KFL...lol.

So many options, so much great gear out there right now.

Set up #1:
Infinite Black Copper Stingray clone topped with a black, Ehpro, Kayfun Lite Plus or a black Tobeco Tobh clone. The Kayfun is running a micro coil at around 1.2 ohms for use on both my Stingray and my hybrid black and red Provari Mini. The Tobh is checking in at .6 ohms with dual microcoils. Using 28 gauge kanthal on both, as well as Japanese organic cotton from Muji.

Set up #2:
Authentic Lernaia Hydra topped with authentic Erlkonigin running a 1.2 ohm microcoil and wicked with Japanese cotton. I also sometimes run it with a Fasttech GP Heron clone, a stainless steel Tobh clone, or a stainless steel Kayfun Lite Plus V2 clone.

Set up #3: Either of my Provari Minis topped with any of the RTAs

Tobh is set the same as the black one. The RTA's are all running pretty much identical 1.2 ohm coils, with varying amounts of wicking depending on the tank so I can use them all on my Provari as well.

I'll include hubby's set ups, as I maintain his vape gear along with mine.

Set up #1:
Full size black Provari topped with an authentic Expromizer running a 1.3 ohm microcoil wicked with that same Japanese cotton. He also has an Hcigar Kayfun 3.1 (sand blasted version) with an identical microcoil to switch between flavors.

Set up #2:
Hcigar Nemesis clone in all stainless steel with an 18350 battery plus Evolv Kick V1 topped with an Hcigar Kayfun 3.1 (polished) with an M Tank from one of my Ehpro clones to reduce the weight a bit. I do not trust him with a fully mechanical mod. At least the Kick will prevent him from over draining his battery.

Set up #3:
MadVapes Gripper mod with AW IMR 18350 battery (kick won't work with this one) and an XL Boge carto at 2.0 ohms. I'll trust him with this one because he only uses it for his softball games. He charges the battery after each game, so I can't see him over draining during one 2 hour game. He only vapes occassionally while playing ball. When he does vape during a game, he often switches between the gripper and...

Set up #4:
Various 808 D1 cigalikes from various vendors. He uses these for work as well mostly. He's afraid his boss will think he's a druggie vaping on anything else. If he gets a chance, since the cigalikes are often not enough, he'll use an iTaste VVv3 topped with a cartotank, but that set up is on it's last legs and is essentially being replaced with the Gripper.

For mechs, I have an authentic Nemesis, currently with a genesis tank on there at .8 ohms with a Sony VTC-5, with 12mg Scorpion Blood in it.
Also got a brass Stringray with a Fogger v4 at .5 ohms with a Sony VTC-5 with Decadent Vapours Wild Strawberry at 6mg
Also running a copper limited edition Sir Lancelot, with a Stillare RDA at .7 ohms with 8mg Tjuice Jack the Ripple.
Lastly, got a 17mm mech, a Kopis with a Taifun GS, with an Efest 14500 battery.

For VV/VW mods, I've got a SvoeMesto Semovar with an AW IMR 18650 battery, with the Sophia by Leo sitting in a cartotank.

TBH there isn't one of them that isn't an awesome vape.
