I have 3 jobs. I work in the IT dept of a very well known Gun manufacturing plant, so something to put in the lunch box not in the pocket. I work for the local school and college driving a bus there again something to put in the lunch box. Then I do photography for special events and weddings in the afternoons and weekends and teach photograhy classes for senior citizens center and photo clubs.

So, you sure don't get a lot of sitting down vaping relaxing time. You're going to be "vaping on breaks." You don't sit at computer all day and if you do, you probably don't vape at your desk. So you don't need a pass thru.

You will always need a backup. Most people's *first* kit gets relagated to backup when they move up to more expensive PVs. So, I agree with Madjay. Two Ego Twists (I always buy joyetech) 650mAh (shorter than the 1000s but you could certainly buy 1000s which are longer and better bat life but not as portable) and a mini-vivi nova and/or some cartos. You can't go WRONG with that purchase. You will use them.

I dunno about Provari for you except for home. Unless you do not worry about having a $200 item stolen, or leaving behind lunch box. There are cheaper tube mods that others can advise you on, that can take a beating, you can ding them and bump them and not care that they are rattling around in lunch pail on the school bus. :).

However, YOU might also want to consider a holster for your your more expensive PV. You can wear on your belt like a cell phone or beeper and it will always be on your person.

I don't think you're the type who is going to be floored by techie stuff like changing settings, looking at little windows, etc. I don't even think you'll be changing stuff out much. I think you are BUSY. You want to carry something w/decent battery life, and batteries that you can take in and out so that you can carry extra batteries with you (in a battery case.) when you can't be near a charger. (Ego batteries will have to be placed out of use since they go on the charger and you cant use them).

So, egos with a carrying case: AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | eGo Carrying Case - Small, Medium, Large
and then some kind of tube mod... in a holster or in lunchbox. If you feel comfortable taking a Provari out and about, then buy it.

(I only used to use Nikon lenses on my Nikormat in the old SLR days, and always dedicated, never zoom. :) So I can appreciate having nice stuff that you have to be a little careful with, not to lose, break, etc..)

well for the battery part seeing as how you want rugged and reliable there,s only one choice there. Provari, tough as nails, stellar warranty, great customer service, can be repaired, can be upgraded. many have beaten them, dropped them in water and coffee, had them roll off the roof of their cars and still works fine.
for the addons everyone will have a million suggestions.

If you need to hide it a bit, and it needs to be tough, then get a Provape-1. They are indestructible, and have a lifetime guaranty. If size is no problem, the Provari has a bigger battery and will last all day on a charge.

The Reo isn't a bad choice either.

What's the battery life on that Provape, flintlock?

I use 14500s on my bottom feeder, and to be honest, I don't even vape much (less than 2ml a day) and they just don't last long but the good thing is that they are little like AAs so I can carry a little case of them around. I agree, this would be a nice vape for the OP

The AW batteries are 750 mAh, so theoretically, around seven hours on a charge.

After reading the OP's daily schedule, it seems like a good out-and-about PV would be in order. Something portable, smaller in size, yet durable.

I'm such a fan of the Provari being such a durable and dependable mod. Perhaps a Mini Provari would be nice, especially if he wouldn't mind carrying an extra battery or two with him to ensure its use for the amount of time he is away from home. He could buy a Serenity Gear lanyard, sleeve, or holster to carry/protect it. Of course it has ohms reader, battery voltage reader, set voltage display. Accuset microprocessor assures the same voltage setting for the life of the battery, no drop off in vape quality as the battery declines like other mods can. Can't top Provape's customer service. One year warranty, and Provape will continue to service it after warranty. USA made.

Another option might be a Smoktech Variable Voltage Gripper. I got one a few days ago for my out-and-about usage. Lightweight, smallish, comfortable to hold, vapes like a truck. Nice LED display, 3 button controls, ohms reader, battery voltage reader, and of course the voltage setting. Uses an 18650 battery for all day use. Only $50.
