Redudancy i.e "Me, myself, personaly." That drives me nuts. Also i hope "My bad" has been covered allready. Refering to a parent as a "baby momma" that too.
There are a couple of phrases that sort of bother me...
"For god sakes" instead of "for god's sake". Doesn't make any sense.
And, "I could care less". If there's still room for you to care less, then apparently you do at least care some. If anyone took the time to quickly think out what they're saying, they'd say "I couldn't care less".
"Confront" bothers me. People use it when it is not needed. If I approach someone to discuss something I do not confront them. Yet the word gets tossed around instead of "approached, discussed, asked, etc...
It really bothers me to see mis-used words--that are phonetically correct when spoken, but when written have a different meaning. "He stepped into the whole." (hole) Or "She put the book over their." (there) I see this a lot online! (Or on-line?) lol!
