+1 on the full brass or cooper

The only downside to having an all brass or copper Reo without a clear coat would be your hands would smell like metal all day. It would be like holding change in your handle all day. Would be neat having it patina and then do like a flat or satin clear coat.

Considering most china mods are made from brass, a brass or copper REO is doable. But I would hate the maintenance on keeping one nice looking. Though a patina covered one would look cool.

Sorry to throw some tube pics up but wanted to show a brass patina Murdock did. First pic is my Poldiac with brass clothes on it. The other pics are the what he did to his, it's clear coated. Looks awesome to me. I'd love a brass 2.1 to do this to.

Well, I'm going to play the dumb blonde card here (I'm not dumb and I'm not blonde) and ask: What is carbon fiber and why would it be a good door???? Inquiring minds want to know.....

Carbon fiber is a strong, lightweight material, used in place of aluminum in aircraft, golf clubs, etc. Some like it for the weave appearance as well, which would be the application here.

That reminds me of an Acrylimax from Madvapes. It looks pretty cool but too flashy for my tastes.

I'm new to the reoverse. I think my Reo is the most boring, most pedestrian, least exciting mod I have... It's also the most useful, most practical, and toughest one I have, as well! It's the "Chevy work truck" of e-cigs, and the only one that goes everywhere with me. I think it's pretty good as it is. The only thing I could think of would be a Reo Grand Hybrid with a machined in, built in silica atty; with the option of doing single or dual coils (it should come with 2 top caps, a single and double airhole). New designs aside, it's fine the way it is... but it would be seriously cool if we could order extra doors, either blank for aftermarket or DIY finishes (paint it yourself, or send it to your favorite mod anodizing company) and/or finished in the colors you already offer. The option to completely change the look of your Reo for $15-30 whenever you want is quite appealing! I know if colored doors were an option when I ordered, I would have snapped up the blue metallic, the silver hammertone, and purple metallic doors, too! Maybe even an extra red one so I could try my hand at etching a design in the finish without the chance of having to carry around an "ugly" cause I screwed up!

I don't know for sure, but I'm assuming (since we could in the past) you can buy doors separately. I can't remember....seems they were around $20 or so. If you really want a different door, you could PM Rob (redeyedancer) and ask what's available.

it would be cool to have a wooden door with a metal backing for support for the metal reo's. As for the hybrid, either have it as an autofeeder where you can place a SSmesh down the tube into the bottle. or you can still squonk and build a single or dual coil. pretty much any build is possible in this hybrid. it was mentioned before by ratDadJoe about having multiple top caps. That is a brilliant idea. they could be custom painted or anodized as well with predrilled holes with sizes and number of holes specified by customer beforehand.
