Welcome to the snus side Diver. We're the mushrooms of the ECF but we're proud. ;) I'm a General original fan but use the mint when I feel the need for a change. Not sure how the mint would pair with coffee as I'm not a drinker but who knows? It might be excellent. Trying actual snus for the first time might feel a bit daunting especially due to the salt used as a preservative. It can irritate the gums a little until they get used to it. Once you overcome that it is an awesome tool to have around for when you can't vape. Probably the biggest reason I quit smoking was finding snus. Enjoy!

I went out doing some gadding about today. While I was walking around a name brand sporting/hunting store, I put in a packet of General White. I liked the flavor and didn't miss vaping at all. I didn't really care for the cost of the items I walked out with. Oh well, guess ya can't have everything your way.

https://www.snuscentral.com/ is having a sale. I ran a test on what my per can cost would be with shipping for 10 rolls. The Onyx is actually cheaper than Mint, it used to be a lot more expensive plus they have two varieties- Silver was the original one and Gold (Gul) which sounds more tobacco like. $20 discount on orders over $200 makes the shipping a bit more bearable. $2.69 a can isn't too bad.

It's really funny that you mention it because I was looking there and snus express yesterday and meant to come and post on the sale. I don't know why but I have this mental block about spending over $120 per order. For some reason I always try to keep it under that. It is a pretty good deal with a 200 order but the more you add the more the shipping goes up. I think it was almost a $20 increase in shipping between getting three rolls and adding enough to get the $20 discount. I need to get in my little freezer and see how much mint I have. The other thing is I don't have enough room in my little freezer for $200 worth of snus to add. I am thinking about just getting three rolls. Do you know how long the sale is good for?

Sometimes you can find it on sale at convenience stores.
I have a 7Eleven not far from my house where I can get General Snus along with other brands. What I was talking about were the "other" items I had picked up while walking around the store.

I always thought it was the salt content but after exchanging comments with Bengt Wiberg, a Swedish FB user, I found out that it was actually the necessary high pH-level in snus as compared to the mouth.

He had some dentists from the Karolinska Institute (the organization that appoints the Noble Prize in medicine each year) help him understand it. That was the University that I got my research from that convinced me that smokeless, specifically snus, was not the danger we were sold our whole lives.

I placed an order with snuscentral yesterday for the mint on sale and grabbed a couple cans of catch raspberry licorice to try. Not sure why but a $5 off coupon popped up so I saved a few bucks.
