I never ordered from them as they were so limited on what they have. I put in very large orders to get the shipping cost down to under $.60 per can, so I want everything in stock. Seems I tend to order mostly from Snus Central as they have a good selection and most of the time it is in stock, so I get my orders in under 3 days.

I just ordered jakobsson from them since it was a cheap shipping option. I was going to use that $15 coupon code they sent me to put in an order but it's wasted now. They are way too high on their General snus. Last time I ordered it was free shipping from them for some reason.

The world is upside down now. My escape which I've had for three years and put on about 15k miles is wanted by the dealer for about $1,000 more than I paid for it. That is just insane. I wish I could do without it for a couple years, I'd sell it and wait for the craziness to return to normal, assuming it ever does.

My wife took her CX9 into the dealer the other day for service and they didn't have ten new cars on the lot. They keep sending us stuff in the mail wanting to buy her car back. I would if we were in the market for a new one but we have to get my youngest daughter either finished with college or supporting herself first. Her car is a 2013 but only has about 60k on it. It's still in really good shape. I'd like to see her get something a little smaller next time. With the kids gone there's no reason we need a seven seat car any more.

From what I understand, you don’t have to chew them. I think the bag material is just tougher than a normal portion.

From the video I watched, the idea of the chew bag was to enable you to bite down on them to release more of the nic. Other than the tougher bags and potentially a different process to create the snus, you generally treat like normal snus. It's meant to be be put under your lip unless you want the release the extra nic.

By the time my Escape is as old as your wife's car, I'll probably only have somewhere around 46k on it. I just don't drive that much anymore. I'm just hoping they'll have the autonomous technology worked out so that if I live long enough to need it, I can just give the car voice commands as to where I want to go and it will take me there.

Now if we could just figure out how to get them to sell them to US residents. I'd buy as much thunder berry as my freezer would hold.

Now wouldn't that be nice. I'm ready for the voice command car now.

FC, you're getting it bad up your way. Here the cold is breaking tonight hopefully. The last couple days were miserable. I woke up to two degrees this morning. I feel bad from my neighbor in the mobile home.

His water line runs into a shed outside his place and he was not getting water pressure. He still had water but once the water tank drained, he had to wait for it to fill. Called a pump guy and he thought the problem was with the pump. The guy came out alone so my friend had to help him. The well was 370 feet down and what happened was the joint between PVC sections had fractured right near the pump. He decided to replace the pump since it was around 30 years old and then all the joints were replaced and put it all back together. They went to start it up, the pressure built up and then nothing. Electric wasn't getting to the system and the guy that pulled the pump didn't know electric so now he had eight hours of labor and no water whatsoever.

Owner of the business came out and fixed the electric issue, maybe, and left. Neighbor was running the water to clear out the dirty water and, now, no water again. He thought it froze up but, if he had water running, I don't see how it could be frozen. Thankfully, the temp just got above freezing so it will be easier trying to figure out what's going on tomorrow.

Well I became a Covid victim. Started Thursday when I got a stuffy nose and started coughing. By nightfall I had a headache that I attributed to the coughing but was concerned enough to start looking into symptoms for Omicron. No sore throat and no fever had me thinking cold but I had both a Saturday and Sunday tournament scheduled so I decided to cancel just to be on the safe side. Glad I did.

I woke up with a sore throat Saturday morning and in all my years of catching colds, never did I get a sore throat after the coughing started, it was always the first symptom. I started checking around to see if anyone had the home test with little luck. I was told of a drug store about half an hour from here but didn't feel like checking it out. I got confirmation last night I had it though.

Last night my lower back started to hurt. I figured laying around the last couple days caused that and put a heating pad on it to try to get to sleep. It finally worked but by 3 AM I was up and I couldn't find any way to be comfortable except standing up and it's hard to fall asleep that way. I got back looking at symptoms and back pain was another one with this variant.

I was pretty much miserable all morning as the only thing I had here to address inflammation was a bottle of Aleve that expired in '19. My neighbor had some Advil and I found out my gf had some icy hot patches. The combination gave me all the relief I needed. I should be just about past contagious and feeling pretty normal.

I’m glad you’re doing alright. My youngest got it working at a retirement home. She had the sore throat, coughing, and fatigue. I don’t recall her saying if her back hurt.

The back thing is apparently not as regular. From what I read, it hits people with back issues which I was just getting over. I hit all the way down into my buttocks. It turned out to be the worst part of the disease for me. Fortunately icy hots and Advil brough it under control immediately.

Curious about those who got it, how many were vaccinated? So far, I haven't found anyone who got it that wasn't vaxed.

Glad to hear your on the mend.

My mother in law and bother in law both got it last week. Mother in law was vaccinated and had fatigue but was over it in a few days. Brother in law isn't and he's still laid up 10 days later.

Saw your post after mine. So maybe the vaccine is actually working to a degree. I don't like being sick and those 4 days were what I'd call a pretty nasty cold in my world since I quit smoking where I'd be coughing for months after getting one of my two annuals. So glad I got off cigarettes.

my daughter was vaccinated but not boosted when she got it. There’s someone on another thread that I know wasn’t vaccinated and got it and ended up in the hospital. The vaccine from my understanding doesn’t keep you from getting it but tries to keep the symptoms mild.

When the "vaccine" was created, it was anticipated to protect you from Covid but that didn't work. If you remember back, Biden and his people were stating that you wouldn't get it or transmit it. When that wasn't true, they changed their argument for getting it. Now it's more of a pre-treatment than a "vaccine".

I was boosted 16 days before I got the virus and I suppose I have what they're calling long Covid. I still get coughing jags, mild headaches and, yesterday, I just slept away most of the day. They say it lasts two to three weeks but I haven't figured out if they meant after you cleared the quarantine period or from inception.

Interesting to note, my gf had ordered the Covid testing kits when it was announced. They still haven't arrived and, from what I read, they might not work when you get them. Another failed government program.

Sorry to hear you're still dealing with it. I know a couple people on another thread have lost their smell long term. I'm not sure how long it's supposed to last but my daughter was back to work at the retirement home after just five days. They are always short handed. I also ordered the free covid tests and haven't received them yet.

My daughter is coming home over the weekend and wanted the new boyfriend to stay over Saturday night. I told her no and that they had only been dating three weeks and I didn't want him spending the night but he could come during the day. Well, turns out he's coming Sunday instead of Saturday and I'm the only one interested in watching the Super Bowl. I can see myself getting grumpy.

I can confirm, I still smell. lol

Which daughter, young or older one?

The youngest is a CNA so far and is taking classes to get her CMA. She’s taking a semester off from college but hopefully she’ll go back in the fall to get on track to be an RN.

I’m not sure if the smell thing is good or bad.

My wife and I tested positive today on the covid topic. I had a very mild sore throat on Sunday night, which in retrospect was probably the start of my symptoms. Monday it was presenting as allergies with sinus congestion and drainage with the usual odd coughs/sneezes.

I kept going to work as it was all fairly normal, but my wife started feeling crappy today and dug out those government at home tests. I had to head to medical at work for one of their tests to confirm positive and I'm out until next Thursday.

It kinda sucks because we don't get paid when we get put out and I feel fine today. I'm glad we know though and can avoid spreading it.
