Roth, the only thing I can think of left to say is just enjoy what time you have left with him and like gutter said, remember the good times.

Gutter, its good to hear from you again. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of you.

Nothing much exciting to speak of today- I'm building a pedal board for a local guy so I worked on that and tried to flesh out an idea for a song I've been working out in my head.
The weather has just been... Weird (to say the least). It was 72 here today and there seems to be some pretty bad storms moving in now. The temperature is supposed to drop to 24 by this time tomorrow.I'm just hoping we don't get a repeat of last year...
At the moment , I've got an old buster Keaton movie on and hoping to get sleepy.
On the upside, I'm really digging that regular strength oden's cinnamon and licorice quite a bit. The cinnamon tastes just like the high powered version and the licorice reminds me of a good non-sweet licorice. Good stuff on both accounts.

Gutter it sounds like you're having the weather we did a couple days ago. It dropped severely yesterday and was 14 this morning.

My oldest made it back from the theatre conference she was at this week. They were supposed to be back last night but the weather got bad and they had to pull off the road and get rooms. It's good to have her back home.

Sounds about right Hitt, it got ridiculously cold all through the day today and is in the low 20's now.i used to love the cold weather but absolutely hate it now. It would be great if it would stay late fall for 12 months :)

Nothin exciting today (as usual).i sold a couple of guitars to a local vintage dealer to augment the new old guitar fund. an old buddy offered up a 76 korina explorer for less than a used car last week and the plan is to sell everything I own that isn't old (and maybe a kidney) to snatch it up.GEnerally speaking, explorers are pretty cheeseball, guitars that get sort of panned but, this particular model is a rarity and has 50's specs and great pickups so it's not gonna be a bad thing to hold on to for a few years..

Gutter, I googled that guitar and found some pics. It looked like the ones I saw were kind of a dark wood color.

On a different note, I hadn't touched any snuff for at least a couple months and today found myself digging out some WoS honey menthol. I seem to be getting bored with my regular snus and vaping routine. Work has been extremely busy lately and somewhat stressful so that probably has something to do with it.

Today was the day... Yesterday was too painful and when he stopped eating, I had enough....

I'm really sorry about that Roth. Evidentally you posted while I was writing my last post otherwise I would have responded to yours rather than making a general post. I know it must be terrible to deal with. We're here if you need to talk.

What a great looking dog roth. It's great that the two of them got along so well. Our cat still isn't too crazy about our dog. Rogue went in Monday and got spayed and is recovering. What really stinks is that she is still having the knee problems and I'm afraid if that doesn't end up any better then she may have to end up getting surgery in the future. I'll cross my fingers for her that it gets better.

The first picture was T with Sir Boots who just disappeared, I believe possibly at the hands of my neighbor (his wife didn't like cats). The second was Cammie Cam (actually Camelot) who was my 16 year old that died last year. She, T and Me were all on the same page. T wouldn't get up to go out on Monday at all. In fact it was a struggle to get him up for his last car ride. However, he held his business until he was outside. He just wouldn't do anything that he wasn't supposed to, except visit the neighbor kids once in a while or a party up the street when he heard one.

I'm so sorry Roth. He was a beautiful dog. He was lucky to have you.

Hitt. The knee thing with Rogue. I know exactly what that is and that it is common in Shibas. I'm surprised that your vet said the surgery has such a low success rate. My vet has done that surgery quite often (pretty sure he has modified the textbook version of the surgery) and as far as I know, his success rate is around 100%. He did the surgery on a silky that we had a few years ago, no problems at all after, and my friend's yorkie, no problems there either. Maybe shop around. How much is he saying the surgery will cost?

it probably would have been easier if i'd have just said "the same model guitar the guy in u2 has" :)

it's funny you mention snuff. i've been thinking of digging out some president here lately.

I got out my Patrick Collins snuff box and put some honey menthol in it. I had a couple more pinches today. It was kind of a weird day. I was super tired in the morning and my legs ached all day. No doubt it was the arthritis letting me know it was still there.
