Axl, 16 and 19......but that's how old and out of control they were when I inherited them.

Somehow they both managed to turn out pretty good through no help from their mother.
Good luck Skry, you're a better man than I. I made a promise to my wife that if we ever broke up I'd never remarry and I'm firmly committed to that statement, especially now. Interesting date, you should have gotten married last year on my birthday- 11/11/11.

Darn, your kids are in luck. A built in maintenance mane for the future. I've gotten to be the Ego battery repair man, a really sucky job. A word of warning. Don't drop those suckers. There are about 5b soldering points, all very temperamental. I don't know which one initially got disconnect originally , but when I finally got it opened the connection between the micro chip and the atty was broken, possibly when I opened it up because when I got it soldered it still didn't work.
I then had to take the battery out because from youtube, there was a solder in the bottom connected to the battery that had to be the culprit and I couldn't get the bottom cap off. Soldered that and on reassembling, my original solder broke. Then the solder broke at the atty, trying to get the button back in. I had to re-break the solder at the chip to get that re-soldered. That's when I learned a valuable lesson. Before I re-soldered the chip, I should have put the button back in and held it in place with the wire running from the atty. I re-soldered the chip and carefully re-assembled and it worked, good as new. There are two more coming to me now. Hopefully lesson's learned will make the next two much easier.
I know I'm going to be more careful with my VV. I've dropped it once or twice. I can't imagine what that looks like inside the tube.
