Ok maybe its just me but I get annoyed with people, friends family co-workers, when they ask me this question. I feel like they should be happy that I don't smoke real cigs anymore. I don't really plan on quitting e-cigs, I like them and they are much safer than my Marlboro menthol light 100's ever were. To me it is kind of like saying to a person on a diet congrats on losing 20lbs but when are you going to lose the other 10. KWIM? Am I the only one dealing with this or do most of you plan on quitting e-cigs at some point?

Funny thing, I just got mine on wednesday and the plan was to quit smoking cigs and just do this for about a month or so..... then quit everything.

Well, I REALLY like this thing and have no plans on quitting anytime soon :) I will probably end up getting some really low nic stuff in a few months and then 0 nic at some point, but I really enjoy this!

So yea, tell em your not gonna quit anytime soon!

When I found E-cigs, It was by mistake and I had no intention on quitting cigs. I was just fascinated with the whole vapor thing so I thought I'd get one and try it. The minute I opened it, that was the last time I smoked a real cig. It still amazes me that I don't even think about smoking a real cigarette but I have NO plans on quitting my pv. I loved smoking and now I love vaping. simple as that.

Absolutely! It taps into that whole archetypical racial-memory thing associating the curling smoke with contemplation and relaxation. Makes me wish I had a beard to stroke and patches on the elbows of my velvet smoking jacket. Its like staring into a campfire, it reaches back through history, and it just feels good!

As I've stated previously, I took a proactive position from the start, letting folks know that I wasn't using e-cigarettes as a "quit smoking" tool (even though at the time I honestly didn't know if I would or wouldn't eventually drop them), but simply as a safer, cleaner nicotine delivery system. I've fine tuned that answer as I've gone along, and explain that for me I always have and still enjoy the ritual and ceremony of smoking, and now I have found a system of nicotine delivery that allows me to truly enjoy my addiction of choice, like others enjoy caffine, without all the carcinogens and additives that come with the burning cylinders. My delivery is always warm and sincere, and clearly not open for debate - I've only had to "defend" that position once by explaining I wasn't arguing a point, simply making a statement, and then distracted the inquisitor (a dear "love to debate things to death" sort) with a simple "asked and answered" and the introduction of a different unrelated topic. It's possible that someday I may choose to simply stop vaping, but having tried for over 30 years to give up cigarettes unsuccessfully, I honestly believe my current statement is true for the long term, and it works for me.

Ok, the only reason I wanted to quit smoking was because I didn't want to die...I never wanted to give up my stress relieving cancer sticks...however...I finally quit last February (a year ago) and so has my husband...and we have NO intention of ever quitting vaping. I had inadvertantly quit for acouple of months just forgot to charge a battery and kept forgetting and never got the urge to go vape it...then I demo'd it to some lady that was blowing her nasty smoke in my door when she came to pick up her granddaughter from my house and I was fed up with it...so I had to charge it...and figured why waste a brand new atomizer. I then soon realized that I was eating less...and so, I do it to curb my appetite! ROFL! I have lost 40 pounds since I started back up in mid August! I don't plan on giving up! I love my sweet vapor! I could care less about the nicotine, it's all about getting something to do with my mouth other than eat! :)
