Does anybody know of a good place to get two sided PCB's with vias made at a decent price. I only want a couple but the places I have seen so far are extremely expensive.

Also is there anywhere out there that can make reasonable price boards including the components?

Oh, man that'd be the ticket. Things would be so much cleaner inside, lol.

I just make my own boards since you have to pay out the @$$ if you just want a few made. Any kinda small order and your looking at 50$ per a board is the cheapest i have seen. If your just wanting a couple i might can help you out next time i do some etching.

I am working on a PWM circuit for a Vendor as a prototype. It would be 2 sided about 1/2" X 3/4" with several vias. If you think you could pump one of those out I could sure use the help. I am sure we could work out some kind of compensation also.

I have the design done in pad2pad so I would probably have to make it up in another program unless you have the mad skills... =] I have never done anything this small before.

I still have to add a couple of things to this however. Missing a couple of led's and a zener to cut it off below a certain point. Just a simple PWM. Plus I have to do some size fitting for the POT to make sure the size works out prior to etching anything.

Dremel etching this size just doesn't work

What export options does pad2pad have? never used it before. I might have to redo it in Geda to be able to make it. Cant really see whats going on with the bottom layer would need a clearer picture of that if i have to redo this in Geda. Since it is so small i would have to do 2 or maybe 4 at the same time. Should be a problem as the board i make has a scrap piece that should work fine. See if you can print your pad2pad file to a PDF file if you can maybe i can do what i need to off it.

expresspcb is great for small boards like this. Three 2.5"x3.5" boards for $51. You could put 18 of your boards on those three plates. The free software is a decent bonus.

That's the problem. If you are doing higher quantities it isn't too bad. But, when you only want a couple of prototype boards it is quite expensive for a hobbyist.

Yeah i roll in Linux these days. Free gerbers is a plus also. But if you have used it before it shouldn't be too tough. Might want to try out the Newest Linux Mint it is awesome. Let me know if you need any help in Geda or if you need any footprints i kinda doubt it , maybe that 3 pin connector on the right not sure what that is.

Makes sense, I kinda doubt there is a footprint for it already. If you have a data sheet of the part i can make one tonight i have to make some other footprints for my project so i could just add it to the list.

Edit : Here is a site with footprint search engine

Here is my parts list so far from digi key. I wouldn't go to far with any of it as of yet. I havn't finalized the design yet as some components may get changed up.
