I cant seem to put the analogs away yet. Getting better every day. I seem to have one time of the day that I cannot get past vaping alone - the morning coffee and cigarette.

Once I have a couple of analogs first thing in the morning, I am perfectly content the balance of the day vaping. I assume this is somewhat normal during the switch from analogs?

What smoke did you, or do you miss the most? Morning, after a meal, after s3x?? Just curious?

The morning smoke was a toughie. I handled it by a strong Menthol flavor in a higher nic level than usual first thing in the morning. I just vaped through the nightmare for about a week and the desire for the smoke stopped.

The other hard one was the after supper smoke. So I built myself a new ritual to replace the cig. I got a special dessert liquid that I only permitted myself to vape after supper. The hubby knew that 20 minutes after supper was my special vape time and was sacrosanct. No interruptions. I turned it into my unwinding and savor the vape time much like men at the turn of the century savored brandy and cigars after supper.

Sometimes we just have to trick ourselves and change one smoking ritual into another vaping one. :)

It took me about a week into vaping to finally give up the ones after meals. I had breakfast one morning, retired to the front porch for my smoke and was physically sick for the rest of the day. Haven't had one since and when I do think about having one, I remember how ill that last one made me.

To be quite honest I really didn't miss any from the time I first started vaping. Read so much valuable information on here that I knew to have a high enough nic level in my juices and make sure I had plenty on hand. That was 99 days ago and I haven't had one single urge to try an analog since.... but I'm probably out of the norm in that respect. You'll get there... you are doing great. Maybe try finding a flavor that you like that would go good with your morning coffee.... I love Mt Bakers cinnamon roll juice and it does go great with my morning coffee. :toast:

In the first week of vaping I had a single or maybe 2 cigs a day, after breakfast and/or dinner and/or 5m3x. I was done after that even though I still craved it a little. After about 4 months I suddenly got a strange habitual craving while working at my PC. It lasted for half a day and I ignored it of course.
After that I had absolutely no cravings for smoke.

I just have a single all-day-vape in my favorite device at that time. I sometimes change it when I need to refill.

Occasionally I enjoyed a cigar with some friends but last time it just left an unbearable smokey aftertaste, don't even like those anymore.

I went way too long in quitting the smokes. I didn't think that vaping would satisfy me after a meal and I wanted one with coffee any time.

After 2 years of vaping and smoking 6 or 8 cigs a day, I finally decided to quit. Surprise! There were no withdrawal symptoms and it didn't take long to enjoy vaping with coffee and after meals. I'm sitting here enjoying my morning coffee and some Dekang Tobacco vape as I type.

It's a head game that you have to experience to believe. The smoke makes you think you have to have it. I just made the decision that I would quit when my current pack was gone just to see what happened. A year and 9 months later, I haven't had the desire for a smoke yet. I was able to vape and quit while my wife still smoked next to me. As long as I had my vape, it was a non-event. She finally quit about 6 months ago using Wellbutrin and never enjoyed vaping. She was one who thought that vaping wasn't the same as smoking. She would try my Provari and cough every time. I bought her an Njoy 510 because she felt that it had to look like a cig. We all have our own little opinions about what works.

I do miss it if I'm out with smoker friends drinking. We are having a big party this weekend so it will be a true test. There will be lots of smokers there, 2/3 the people there. There's no smoking in our house so at least they will all be outside (we only vape outside too, per husband's request, except for when I sneak). I've only been analog free about 6 weeks but I plan to not bum any. I'll have the tanks full and batteries charged. Some NET flavors and some fun flavors maybe to try to covert some friends. And I may just stay inside and vape.

I also just decided to see how long I could go without a smoke. Put them in the back corner of my desk and the APV next to the keyboard. I must have reached for my shirt pocket a million times, then vaped. I pretty much duct tape it to my hand, but no smokes. I still have 8 smokes in that corner, 2 months old now.

I think I am saying that I miss all the triggers, coffee, food, booze. Just not going to. I have a lot of duct tape. :D

I've been smoking for 8 years.
Last year I made the switch due to my girlfriends parents saying I should quit smoking, ecig are the same thing. It gives you smoke coming out from your mouth and nicotine and something to hold in your hand.
Ever since, I'm so glad I listened to them. I do smoke a cig when I'm stressed out and extremely unhappy. But I don't enjoy it I regret it every time. I consider myself a vapor and not smoker.

I really don't "miss" any smokes in the sense that I don't crave cigarettes. However, for some reason, I find myself grabbing a smoke out of my husband's pack (he's still a smoker--for now...) after dinner once or twice a week. It's a nearly unconscious habitual reaction that I find odd, since I don't consciously desire a cigarette--I rather despise the thought of it and the taste is appalling to me. Eat dinner, clear table, wash and put up dishes, light up cigarette. It's so interesting how (from the "outside" looking in) that little part of life (while smoking) was, and still is, so automatic.
