I vape in movies every time. I use the LED off feature on my Provari, turn the voltage down a few clicks to minimize the fog, and blow the vapor down across my legs. No one has ever even shown evidence that they noticed. It's better to try and pick an end seat with some separation.
I went to see the 9:30 pm showing of Star Trek last night and did the exact same thing with my Mini Provari. It was the first time that I had brought my new Mini to the cinema instead of my usual Gripper mod. It worked out great. The Mini Provari with cartotank is actually smaller and more pocketable than the Gripper with a cartotank.

To me its like religion.....vaping works for me.if you ask ill be happy to share but dont push it on the unintelligent uninformed and cause controversy....and do not ever knock on my freeekin door cause im all good!

If you hide your vaping from the uninformed, then they will not have the opporturnity to "become" informed.

Funny I found it on my own. Either way, I don't think he means it literally, rather that he's not going to do it in a place where traditionally it would not be socially acceptable.

Last night my wife and I were in a sandwich shop having supper. I vaped after eating and she told me that she wished I wouldn't do that inside because people look when I do. I said, "So?". It embarrasses her because they look and sometimes ask what it is.

I agree that it's strange and some wonder if there's an illegal substance involved. The ones who ask questions get an explanation of just what it is and always comment that it's unique and a good substitute for smoking. I've had no one walk off in a huff after I went through the spiel of explanation. They always perceive it as positive.

hmmm.. have someone vape .. or listen to annoying 15yr olds blab the ENTIRE movie?

I'll take the guy who vapes hands down every time. lol

and on a side note, I feel like most people wouldn't even notice unless you are being a little too open with it.. but I try and vape at new locations all the time just to do it.. because we need to make more people aware of it (in a good way of course).

Wow whats the point in vaping anywhere if your still gonna hide it like its bad. I havent been to a movie since I started vaping but the thought has already crossed my mind and when I do finally go I am gonna vape like normal. I will blow my vapor down so not to disturb others view with a cloud but besides that I dont think itll matter that much most of my juice smells sorta pleasing anyway

I've gotten the same "spiel" about "don't embarrass us". Of course, I have been embarrassing my daughters since they were little (on purpose, lol). I agree with you completely, Dave. I've had more positive interactions by vaping openly but respectfully in places like a sandwich shop. Most are curious and many want to know more to help a loved one or friend. I end up passing out more of the little cards I created to non-smokers wanting to help someone else. None of that would happen if I vaped in smoking sections and dark corners. And it shows the non-smoking, uninformed (which are the majority), that vaping is NOT like smoking and they don't have to be afraid of it. It is the non-smoking majority (who vote) that we need to educate about the benefits of vaping and that it is safe for those near by.
