That's just Madness.

Everyone Knows that Music sounds 95% Better when using Straight Tuning.

Exactly. I bar several chord shapes routinely. E bar, A bar, and C bar are most common. Tuning to a chord limits what you can do. Since I'm a lead player I need access to standard tuning for my riffs. Tuning to an open chord blows that ability away. I guess you can get used to any tuning and learn the scales within that tuning, but I'm programmed over decades to play lead in standard tuning.

Dood, I don't want to comment on this figure. I'm happy, my docs are happy. That is what counts with me.

I did want to comment that the biosphere was not a success (I was a frequent visitor, my son was obsessed with it.) They had to pump in extra oxygen or extra water, I forget. I'm pretty sure it was oxygen though. You don't want to hang out in a biosphere you will slowly asphyxiate to death.

Also, it's ultra cheesy (albeit ultra cheesy on an epic kind of scale, LOL).

But, living in a biosphere is probably 95% less safer than vaping, unless you have a pal willing to pump extra oxygen in for you from the outside.

I am JUST SAYING because some of these arguments to not BORDER on the verge of ridiculous they 100% INHABIT the ridiculous.

True story:
When your wife asks "Does this dress make me look fat"....it's over 95% safer to answer "No".

Argue that fact all you want.....I expect some graphs.

I would argue that it is closer to 100% safer. I have no graphs to support that.

Once you tell them "no" you must remember to resist the urge to tell them to breath in while you zip the zipper up.

It is 100% safer not to inquire if a woman is pregnant…. Unless she is literally on the ground CROWNING, and then it is in good taste to inquire, and also ask if perhaps she would like some assistance.

It is 100% NOT SAFE to ask me if I'm pregnant, and when I say, "Nope. I cannot have more children" to THEN come over and TOUCH my stomach (crazy coworker) and say, "Really? Are you sure?"

We were on the mobile unit at the time, at the detention center and that is all that saved that lady from a broken hand.

I don't like to be touched by strangers ANYWAY but never on my BELLY right AFTER I decline the pregnancy assertion.

You can 100% take that to the bank.

So, next time someone asks me why I vape, I think I'll just say 'because it is 95% safer than touching Anna's belly' and just leave them to puzzle over that statistic :)

Sorry, but we’ll need a graph.

To be fair there was a small part of me that was like, "Well, at least she thinks I look young enough to get knocked up." (I wear makeup now, and due to vaping less wrinkles) so like, it's probably only 99% not safe.

It's like that game "Truth or fact" only it's like "elderly or fat." Plus, you don't have to kiss anyone. I guess... I think perhaps I am mixing up games and that's spin the bottle.

Anyway, all those teen games suck, thank god mine is 21.

While arguably anecdotal, I don't need to post any graphs after three ex-wives. I can assure you that 3 for 3 holds the rule to be true.

I feel sorry for you guys. With my wife, she actually wants an honest answer. It's how we determine when the washer has shrunk her clothes and it's time to donate that garment to Goodwill.

It has been Clinically shown that People who Died had a 95% Success Rate of Quitting Smoking.

Speaking of statistics. 100% of people that breathe the normal polluted air around them will die. So vaping can't be any worse than breathing air.

It ain't. One study I'm very familiar with (from USC) actually shows that there are more metal particles in ambient air than in e-cig vapor.

Data from the USC study, including Compounds, Outdoor air, e-Cigarette, and normal Cigarette.

http://www.rsc.org/suppdata/em/c4/c4em00415a/c4em00415a1.pdf

For your convenience, listed below are the amounts of Cr, Ni, Pb, Zn and Al in outdoor air vs e-cigarette vapor: ;)

Cr: 5.53 vs 4.22
Ni: 5.57 vs 6.14 (+/-2.9)
Pb: 13.28 vs 9.85
Zn: 54.31 vs 56.08 (+/- 21 [sic])
Al: 333.27 (±62.93) vs 161.43 (±71.35)

So, vapor is actually healthier, per this study, than the air we breathe here in SoCal.

I thought @Cool_Breeze might appreciate more scientific evidence in support of the 95% safer finding. ;)

Carry on.

That's True.

But since 4 out of 3 People have a problem using Fractions, trying to explain some of the Subtleties of Statistics seems like an wasted case.

BTW - If some Illness is Unique to e-Cigarette Use Only, then that Isn't part of the RCP's 5% Risk Assessment. Right?
