Actually had one of those in my hand this weekend and the same thought came to my mind as I find that I do bite drip tips.

Guess I could have just asked one of the literally 50 odd people around me with them on mods how it goes but that obvious answer didn't strike me as so obvious at the time.

By the way long barrels. Certainly less juice mouthward bound than the normal sized Aero but so far not a fix.

There was a kid on Youtube who was telling people they could double their internet connection speed by taping a wire to their ethernet cable, and throwing up equations to "prove it". He said that's how the Monster cable works ("and tape the ends so no energy escapes!"). Pretty hilarious. These donut driptips somehow make me think of that. Like the vapor is doubled. But, seriously, they look great though the glass has me worried.

A tip for those biting through a delrin tip. Go slow. It takes a week or more. Just keep nibbling at it, and periodically biting hard at the neck. There comes a point where the saliva penetrates the polymer bonds and the whole structure goes into some sort of chain reaction. Then in under 10 minutes it shreds into something that looks like an exploded shotgun barrel in a cartoon. So satisfying. Doh.

Not at $30 - 40 a pop, literally, though.

Going for a more industrial look myself.

Please ignore the Vari and coffee. Was taken for a recent coffee conversation on another thread.

Ok ladies and gentlemen, I have just acquired my first Vmod XL, yesterday afternoon (classys). Let it be known that I've been using a Reo mini as my out the door APV for about a month and a half. As I told the seller the only complaints I have about the mini is that it doesn't hold more liquid and it takes a 14500. Well after using this Vmod for 16 hrs or so, I think its definetly going to replace the REO. I love the way it has an 18650 and still practically disappears in my hand, if so desired. I have not got used to the "touch" if you will. I did try it with a used silo atty, and then replaced that w a HH 357, and it hits great. I'm wondering if a new silo would perform much better as the one I have clearly needs to be cleaned and dry burned. I have several APVs and I only use 1 as my "on the go" piece, so I will report back in a few days after I have had a chance to get to know her and put her thru her paces. :2c:

Mr K in the house !

Welcome good sir.

Get a good Hybrid and they are really good atty's. Especially the 1.5's. Still getting to grips with the 357 but early days with that one.

Wow 16 hours. I was thinking yesterday it could be time to invest in some new 18650's and your post has pretty much confirmed that. Since swapping to the 357 I have been getting about 8 before having to swap out the battery. Guess I have had them about 4 months now so could be about time anyway but I do have 10 or so of them so would have hoped for a bit more life...but then hope springs eternal lol

That is one advantage I thought of the other day over my other preferred setup, which is a DCT on a Provari. Although I typically vape 50/50 blends, or something close to that, but if I ever wanted to do just VG juices, I bet the VMod handles it a lot better than my tank setup :p

I also like the fact that if I screw things up and get juice everywhere, I can just rinse it off and not worry too much.

It was kind of an impulse purchase, as I hadn't even heard of these until I went to a B&M while on vacation, but I'm VERY happy with this thing.

Couple things fellow Vmodders... I failed to set the notification setting for instant, so I just got these replies all at once this morn:oops:
Number B, I failed to mention that I run the Panasonic hybrid Imr 18650s, which even those bad boys wont run 16 hrs with or w/o sleep included. I have a Kick so I keep 6 of those on hand. I did however use the included bat, fully charged, the first run, and let me tell you IMO the above mentioned will double your run time. Last night I watched a video of a very intuitive fellow who installed a Kick under his juice bottle. That my friends will be taking place in this little slice of vape utopia. Its just a matter of getting to it on my very own daddy vape do list. I've got to get some food in me b4 I fall face first on this keyboard, so I will get to the rest of the responses and fix the notification setting in a flash. Thanks for the welcome and vape happily.

I use 306 atties on mine with a long drip tip, and it works well for me, but lately, I've been using the mini-resurrectors, and they work well on this mod, IMO.
I have quite a few 306s, its about time to clean the 357s so I will try those next. I thought I had tried every atty on earth. It appears I missed a couple. I've heard Resurrectors, but didn't realize they were attys. Whats the deal?

Andy Thatcher
I tend to use 100% VG and atty's most of the time with the XL but will also use NLV juices and carto's if the mood is right.
You know its funny that you say that, after months of dripping and using 357s a lot of people get spoiled, myself included. I agree 100% w that statement. I use 80/20 90% of the time. I think its maybe because cartos were there at the beginning, and they were a game changer after I realized that I got it stuck to me with one of those google scams. So when I got a real PV and some real cartos it was like light dawns on marblehead, and all of a sudden everything was ok.

Huge +. I envision the installation of the Kick mod with the Kick sealed, to a point, and 3 way plug as to maintain that capability.
