Why are drip tips so expensive?

I think they are charging alot because they are made by 1 man who machines them himself in a lath. They take time to make and he is charging for his time. If I was him I would figure out how to make them faster and sell them cheaper but hey who am I.

what exactly IS a drip tip? I'm a little unclear as to how it would work with an eGo. Or...in general, even.

It's a tip that has an open mouth on it that allows you to drip through it without taking it off.

personally, i don't like the metal drip tips...prefer the nylon ones - they last forever & are pretty inexpensive...
