Why do so many people dislike Provari's?

And he said he's been vaping for 2 years but new to this board. I don't blame him for asking that question. The bickering that goes on over PV's vs other ones is just ridiculous.

Personally, I don't care what anyone owns. I love mine and since I worked hard and saved the $$ to buy it, people can bash me all they want. It doesn't phase me. I still don't know the lingo you all use, how to rebuild anything, all the inside scoop on where to buy things, etc. I'm an amateur but I really like my PV mini for the reasons I stated above. I plan on getting a better battery/extender but I'm happy with my purchase. To each their own.

Ps, for those who are sick of these type of questions...why did you click on the tread in the first place? I just hate people making fun or belittling others for asking a question. Grow up or don't answer. Either way would be better than the crap y'all post.

In reality, most of these threads are started by folks trying very hard to justify not spending $160 for a PV. I felt the same way for the first year that I vaped, so I understand.

Then I figured out that $160 is only about 1/2 of what I spent for cigarettes every month.
It's not the Provari, or Nemesis, or DNA-30 mod that's the money pit of vaping, it's the juice that we buy instead of making ourself.
Get into DIY your own e-liquid, and the nice PV's become affordable.

I DIY my juice and my nice APV is a Sigelei.

How can posting a question be considered a troll?

"In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response"

In all seriousness, a lot of us here like to play around a little.. :)

Sometimes people do get a little too engrossed with certain topics, especially those that become a bit repetitive after a while, but it's all good

Some people have no problem ragging on a $160-$200 ProVari (& perhaps their owners), but oddly enough won't do the same for something that costs 2 to 10 times as much.. Go figure

As long as a device delivers a minimum amount vapor fairly safely & reliably, then that's all a person really needs.. The rest are just features & price, depending on what you're personally looking for in a PV

Seems like there is a monster market for sub-100$ mods with lesser quality materials and with sub-par performance. But (not counting mechs) there isn't as big of a market for devices like the Provari. I think that's starting to change though, people are starting to see the benefit in quality devices. I just wish there was more of an option in the higher end range. I know there are other regulated high end mods out there but they are so few and ridiculously hard to find. It's got to the point where I don't even bother trying to race and find stuff like DNA mods because you can't find them very easily.

    Not another ProVari thread!!!!

These love/hate threads are getting out of hand and serve no useful purpose other than to take up space on the servers. I have one and been using it for 2 years, but it has but one purpose (as do my other mods and devices): to quit smoking. It's a very good tool, but then again so is a lot of my other stuff.

There has been nothing new or of technical merit in any of these postings of late.

Whether it's a ProVari or Reo or whatever, some of you lavish more attention on these inanimate things than you do on your kids' performance in school.

Have you nothing better to do with your lives than to bore us with your inane and poorly (no atrociously) written ramblings?

The weak search engine on ECF is bad enough; this type of ludicrous posting forces one to wade through page after page of garbage to find something useful. I am a fast reader and check new threads daily for new developments. There were three of the same ProVari love threads on the first page earlier in the day; they all said the same thing: nothing!

Pretty much my feelings about the General forum for some time.

I think 2014 will be an overall better year for the higher-end stuff.. though demand will still outstrip supply

And yep, certainly various benefits in quality devices.. Eventually more & more people will tire of starting threads like "My ____ broke, which mod should I get next? $100 limit, please"

I understand people (including myself) are on a budget, and that when they smoked it would cost them varying amounts depending on state cig tax & daily cig amount...

But personally I used to spend $250 a month on analogs.. These days I could buy 1 ProVari every month, along with some unflavored juice & some topper stuff -- and still spend the same amount as I did on cigs

Luckily, I reallly don't need a new ProVari every month.. as tempting as it might be... :D
