The OP makes a good point. People don't listen, or in the case of the internet, read and comprehend and answer in context. It doesn't just happen here, it happens all over. I can't tell you how many times I'll be over at the TP Forums and a noob will come in asking for a recommendation that's strong enough to not fall apart yet soft enough to not feel like sand paper. Of course the proper answer is White Cloud or Charmin Strong but you'll find people coming and recommending all sorts of inadequate things like Scott's or some other dingleberry generating brands! It's like, listen up people, no one wants to walk around with little bits of broken wads of TP in their ... all day. Scott's has lots of little thin weak sheets that break apart instantly. It's why they use it in prison, it's part of the punishment. Charmin strong is like wiping with one of the Queen's luxurious cotton napkins - strong yet soft. Pay attention people.

Somewhere out there
sorry if this is a rant, but i just don't get it??
why do so many people on this forum seem to disregard what the OP has said??

for examples:
1) someone will say something like "i know i want to get an svd or a vamo, but can't decide between the 2. what do you think is better of the 2?" then someone says "get and mvp." it's like, why did you even post that? it doesn't help at all?

2) someone says "i'm looking for the best mod under $100. i really can't afford more, so what should i get? then someone says "just buy a provari." can this person even read??

3) (i saw this earlier today) someone said that they wanted to get something from myvaporstore. they asked "out of the selection they have, what mod would you recommend?" then people started telling him to get certain mods that myvaporstore doesn't even sell.

*shrug* i dunno....i just find it so silly.
i guess people either can't read, are dumb, trolling, or posting for no reason whatsoever (just to get their post count up i guess)

i only bring this up, because it seems to happen more here, than just about any other forum i have been on. seem like an epidemic on ecf for some reason.

OP has a good point. I don't understand why so many people are trashing the thread with unrelated dribbel.

Because it's not dribble. It's drivel.
No offense to the basketball inclined.

See? I read your post AND the OP's post. And the answer to both (well, one answer) is in post 72. I would have made it post 42 if I could have, but I digress.

Well my answer to the OP's questions was the correct answer. I didn't answer because I have no opinion on the questions asked.

    But since you asked:
"i know i want to get an svd or a vamo, but can't decide between the 2.
    Their both junk
"i'm looking for the best mod under $100.
    Get an eGo
"out of the selection they have, what mod would you recommend?"
    Whatever floats your boat

    OMGosh! OMGosh!

Katya was just talking about TP. She is now remodeling her bathroom. It was an omen. Everything is leading up to this thread. Everything.

Tacos, Waffles, printable-food, and now TP.

    "42" I tell ya. 42.

Nearly any thread I start. I pose a question and watch pages build with research and accusations that have nothing to do with the question. What's really in e-liquid flavors? Responses: It's not bad for you. Here's a link to the chemicals in apples and there's even trace amounts of toxins in them. Here's a link to cancer research. Oh, you don't like these answer so you must be ANTz...etc...etc... Took about nine pages of this before my actual question got addressed. The whole thread reminded me of a friend who would often declare out of the blue "I'm not gay". Though doth protest too much.

Between the off topic banter, big tobacco/pharmaceutical/government paranoia and fan boy-ism, the general discussion forum is becoming a real drag for me. Thankfully, the sub forums tend to stay on topic. Maybe a catch all thread would help.

Every thread is a catch-all thread when an open ended question is asked. If one does like what is being discussed, one can move on to another thread. I don't believe I have ever seen a thread that has stayed on-topic, especially when an open ended question is asked; it's a natural progression here at ECF. Some choose to have fun and educate themselves. Some don't. It doesn't bother me either way. For me, I'm on a Magical Mystery Tour: Step right this way.
