Agree, there's a lot of answers that don't even come close to answering what an op is asking.

It's easier to give your opinion on something you know. I'm a little bit of a vape store rat, so I've tried a lot of stuff, but I only feel safe recommending things I own, or wanted to own and pretty much took apart in the store.
Post count is pretty useless most of the time, but it's interesting to see a newbie with 17 posts who wants to know why his battery dies after 45 minutes with his .3 ohm atty.

I even hooked an oscilloscope up to one to see if it was at the specified temp...and the quality ones maintained the proper temp. And spiciness. The other ones...meh.

Close. It was really about why the counter people at Taco Bell don't listen when you give them your order. When you have to repeat it three times you expect the right stuff in the bag.

I Googled mine and got 87,900 hits. Most of them weren't me, though.

I've been the OP that's posted very full detail of whatever issue I may have been having, only to have someone ask a question that I clearly typed out the answer to. Did it piss me off? No. Someone else came along that read the post, answered the post, post ended. Something like this one goes on....... and it becomes simple fun, not disrespect.

On the second one, never tell them to just go and buy a Provari. They howl and complain until you tell them you've vaped yours for a year and a half and still have 6 months to go on the original stateside warranty (I bought the extra year extension). Then, you tell them you've dropped it more times than you can count, many times on concrete and it's never failed to work when you pick it up.

Yep, if you buy it on sale it's about the price of two Vamos. They tend to get inquisitive at that point, but there are still those who don't get it. They say they can't afford it. Then, you tell them that a pack a day tobacco habit pays for one in a month. They have the cash if they smoked.

To be honest, people seeking advice should expect advice. Maybe the person recommending a Provari has owned several $100 mods and is thinking they will save the original poster some grief my recommending a quality device? I don't think that makes them dumb, illiterate or trolls. Just a person looking out for another person. There are a million ways you can spin it, but in the end.....

sorry if this is a rant, but i just don't get it??
why do so many people on this forum seem to disregard what the OP has said??
for examples:
1) someone will say something like "i know i want to get an svd or a vamo, but can't decide between the 2. what do you think is better of the 2?" then someone says "get and mvp."it's like, why did you even post that? it doesn't help at all?
2) someone says "i'm looking for the best mod under $100. i really can't afford more, so what should i get? then someone says "just buy a provari."
3) (i saw this earlier today) someone said that they wanted to get something from myvaporstore. they asked "out of the selection they have, what mod would you recommend?" then people started telling him to get certain mods that myvaporstore doesn't even sell.
*shrug* i dunno....i just find it so silly.
i guess people either can't read, are dumb, trolling, or posting for no reason whatsoever (just to get their post count up i guess)
i only bring this up, because it seems to happen more here, than just about any other forum i have been on. seem like an epidemic on ecf for some reason.
They have already decided on what they will get, and they start a thread fishing for someone to validate their decision. All who do not are ignored. That's why they are not listening.
There was a hilarious thread a couple of years ago about bacon flavored juice. Later, there was one about crab flavored juice. I laughed until my sides hurt.
