sad truth for me is, if only i had the money from the start of my vaping .. i would have gotten a Reo and a Provari from the get go...and be done with it lol.... umnnnn now that i realized how much i had spent ughhhh..really sad... i just chuck it to experience........ now i just worry about what juice i'm gonna get =)
but this forum really helped me a whole damn lot learning the ropes so to speak...
The fact is, both those devices are good, solid machines for consistent vaping, provided one is using an equally consistent delivery system. You DO save money in the long run after the initial investment, there's no two ways about it. This is true in North America where it might not work as well in Europe if anything WERE to go wrong. While both companies that make the products back them up completely, there is the whole shipping thing that needs to be considered in that situation.
I haven't purchased anything equivalent that is based in Europe or Asia. I don't know about those devices and I wouldn't dismiss them if people loved them. I'm sure they have their reliable workhorses, too, because there's a definite market for them. If I see one that makes me drool I'm likely to buy one just because I'm a dorky magpie collector of vape things that I won't need....lol Other people will buy them because they are awesome and fill THEIR needs. We all have different tastes and our geographical locations can have a profound effect on what makes the most sense to own.
This isn't even going into the special stuff you can do on fancier, sportier devices. That's a whole other animal and the devices in that category range from complete and utter crap to vaping excellence.
One of the things that bothers me on this forum is that people who don't care for devices like the ProVari like to try to pretend that people who love them portray them as the crème de la crème of the vaping world. They're not. They're just wonderfully good at their respective niches that they fill. That's awesome and that's what the "fanboys" of the ProVarinati appreciate about them.
The best way to decide on what will work for you as an individual is to do your own research by checking out the homes of the devices themselves here on ECF and see what the users are saying about them THERE. That's where they will discuss issues they're having and solutions to those issues and everything thing else a prospective owner would need to know.
Don't listen to the people trying to tear something else down when there isn't any need to. Listen to those who are correcting the misinformation and who seem to continue to be happy with their purchases and are STILL happy with them for a significant time after owning them.
Oh, and remember that sometimes someone just spouting out "Get a ProVari" is just joking because the anti-ProVari threads tend to be the most fun after a while...lol
