Why does V2 get such a bad rap?

I couldn't hang with all the PG in V2's. After a few days of heavy use I was getting tingling in my lips and tongue.
I bought some of the identical Kanger E-Smart clearomizers and some 50/50 PG/VG juice and it went away and the clearo's made much better vapor and easier to use. I only paid $12.95 for a 5 pack of the Kanger clearos.

I am also tired of constantly charging the 250mah batteries and NO WAY I am paying V2 $20 for spares when I can get an 1100mah eGo for about the same money. If I was looking to stay with the slims I could get Kanger replacements for $10 to $12.
Looking at the 380mah batteries and using a clearo would make it over 7" long. Awkward!

Looking back, the only thing V2 has going for them for me is they are available locally.

The 'Burgh, PA.
now vaping on a Provari with Protank 1 & II tanks

I realize this is not a VV/VW thread. But for someone QUITE new to all this...I'm looking at the iTaste VV ($37.99) vs. the ProVari ($159.95).

They appear, to me, to be very similar...but with the iTaste VV being $122 cheaper. What am I missing?
