Damn peer pressure title chasing cloud hound wanna be... my husband I bought a matching pair of Kanger Mini Subox starter kits and extras so he can try his hand at rebuilding the .5ohm coils. Are we real vapers NOW?? LOL

I'm really am kidding. I really am just trying to find my way. I love my iStick mini. I love Nautalus minis. I love my Provari. I love my cheap juice and I love my expensive juice. I just wanna try it all!!!!

Edited to add: my husband is a doctoral engineer with a 1000 square foot shop with enough crap in it to probably build his own device. When it comes to batteries, amps, ohms, volts, power, etc, he's the man. I got into this to quit smoking. He wanted a zero nicotine cigar replacement. It's just become a hobby now, and he's far more into the fog than me. I'm genuinely looking for a replacement to smoking. He's a nerdy cigar smoker. I find it hilarious how this is working out. LOL

I originally started with a Blu vaporizer after having major spinal surgery (a 13 hour procedure, 2 weeks in the hospital, meningitis, a picc line, and IV antibiotics every 8 hours for 3 weeks). I was told before my surgery to quit smoking, and smoked up until midnight the night before my procedure. I didn't smoke at all for the 2 weeks in the hospital, and managed to hold out for the 3 weeks after I got home. However, I picked it up again "here and there" and before I knew was pack to a pack every other day, sometimes a pack a day.

My husband begged me to try an electronic cigarette if I was going to continue smoking, because as I'm sure most are well aware, smoking can seriously impede the body's ability to heal, and even cause a failed procedure, which neither of us wanted. So he bought me the Blu started pack. I liked the idea of it, but it sucked. Inconsistent vapor. Poor battery life. A whole host of reasons actually.

That's when I went to an actuall vape store and bought a "starter kit" - an Eleaf iStick Mini with a Nautalus mini. I started at 18mg's of nicotine and found it a bit strong so I went down to 12. I'm now facing more surgery and today I'm cigarette free for one month.

I have no desire to make huge clouds. I have no desire to build my own coils, or build anything really. I have no desire to own a 150 watt device. Infact, I prefer just the variable voltage only devices (simpler for my noobish ways). I'm more of a flavor chaser that requires the nicotine to keep me from craving a cig. With a great flavor and the right nicotine content I've stayed away from cigarettes for a month.

I'm not really sure what sub ohming is, or what it does. I use the 1.8ohm BVC coils in my Nauty mini and am happy with them.

All I wanted is a long battery life, the ability to adjust voltage to get the best tasting vape, and for it to be consistent right down to the last drop of battery power.

I'm pretty sure I'm a mouth to lung inhaler. Maybe direct lung? I like a decent throat hit to remind me of the cigs.

So by all accounts that makes me a tootle puffer? What is wrong with that? IS there something wrong with it? I can't tell if it's a term of endearment or a derogatory term.

If it's the latter, quite frankly I don't care. I'm doing what works for me. My tastes may evolve as I become more experienced and branch out and try different devices and methods. I'm interested in dripping as I've heard the flavor is great, but I don't care about the amount of vapor.

So what category does this drop me into? Not that it really matters. My local vape shop is very good to me and has never made a comment one way or another, nor have any of the customers we've hung out with.

So... is tootle puffing a term of endearment, or a derogatory term used for those of us not into big clouds and building our own gear?

No offense to anyone, but TP is just an ECF term,
I am on a few other forums and nobody knows what a Tootle Puffer means, thank god!
Even if I am a TP, I reject the terminology...no, just no ;)

Modwomper on the other hand, that I like!

I look a those that are offended and wonder why they think they always need to be a victim.
Seems to me like a guy would get tired of playing with that toy after a while.
Welcome to America
( it was a reply I've got to my similar reasoning a while ago)
P.S. I am an alien.
