Here's a good read on nicotine. The Great Nicotine Myth
Nicotine is a central nervous system stimulant.
Nicotine constricts blood vessels, speeds up the heart and increases blood pressure.
How is that not Dangerous?
And why do they say Nicotine is a relatively harmless normal dietary component.
Dietary = A regulated daily food allowance.
I want to Vape it not eat it.
Yeah but are we talking about pure nicotine or are we talking about the 18mg/1000mg dose of nicotine in your juice? At normal vaping levels I feel nicotine is a safe consumable for a healthy person. The one thing I keep hearing from people is that I switched from one "vice" to another. Well, if vaping is a "vice" then so is drinking coffee.
Harmless Nicotine
Yea it's so harmless that the CDC set up a Emergency Response plan
CDC - The Emergency Response Safety and Health Database: Systemic Agent: NICOTINE - NIOSH
Make sure you scroll down to the Signs/Symptoms part, That's some good reading there.
I think I would listen to the CDC over Yahoo but that's just me![]()
I am sorry, But any website that has to twist words like The myth of nicotine's dangerous and alien nature
I don't trust anything they say after that.
Alien Chemical what is that? I never heard of Nicotine being called Alien Nature or Alien Chemical.
WHY can't they say The Myth that Nicotine is Dangerous?Because that would be a lie?
So they have to add the words Alien Nature or Alien Chemical to make it a Myth they just made up.
And why do they say Nicotine is a relatively harmless normal dietary component.
Dietary = A regulated daily food allowance.

Sorry if I offended anyone, But you think this would be a simple Question: Is Nicotine Dangerous or Bad for us?
And for every web site saying it is, there are four more saying it isn't.
That fact that Nicotine is a central nervous system stimulant,
Nicotine constricts blood vessels, speeds up the heart and increases blood pressure,
there seems to be the only thing a lot of them agree on.
True story:
I was turned on to Nicotine by a Doctor, I was getting migraines.
Which this doctor believed that migraines were linked to expanding blood vessels,
which then the nicotine would counteract and constrict the blood vessels.
I have been told that Caffeine and Nicotine both could be a trigger for migraines,
but both where given to me for the treatment of my migraines.![]()
You're right - nicotine is a poison (in large, large doses), a vasoconstrictor and a preventative re: alzheimers. Got ulcerative colitis or crohns? Vape high nic - it will help (apparently and imho - go away lawyers!).

There are many valid reasons someone might choose to reduce nicotine.
-to reduce dependence on nicotine
-their tolerance for nicotine has decreased
-better gear delivers nicotine more efficiently
-to save money or stretch supplies (DIY)
-fear a ban
-legitimate medical reasons
-just want to see if they can
I'm sure there are more reasons.
