How does engine breaking work on motorcycles? It's not something that comes up on road bikes (for obvious reasons), and I've always been curious. It seems like it'd make the back end really unstable, and on bicycles, I don't think I've ever used a rear brake on roads. Or is it just something you don't do?
It takes less than a second to shift, and you've got your lap right there to put your vape on if you're not capable of steering/shifting with it in your hand. No, that's not ideal, but you're not really supposed to grip the shifter anyway. I manage to use my right hand to shift, vape, operate the radio, occasionally do stuff with my GPS, hold my girlfriend's hand, operate the AC (since I don't use the thermostat in my car either), and probably some other stuff that I don't even think about anymore.
And I'm left-handed.
I don't understand how it's the least bit complicated unless you're one of those ...... who drives around giving his shifter a hand job for no reason.

Engine braking is unbelievably intense on sport bikes. I rarely use my brakes in traffic and, unless I'm coming to a full stop I just downshift and let the bike brake for me. You can drop from 70-40 in about 3-4 seconds just by hopping into 1st/2nd (1st gear will take me up to 98mph currently). The back doesn't get too offset if you have your weight set right where it should be. Also remember, the brakes on newer sports bikes (after 2002) are simply unbelievable. Rear wheels don't lock up like they used to and wrong brakes are butter soft. That combined with a tiny high rpm engine fighting against rotational energy makes for a pretty damned fast stop.
tldr: I engine brake more than I use my brakes.
Cat-wise I have no idea. I'm a dog person, BUT the girlfriend loves the cat. Its grey and white and black and enjoys attacking my face while I sleep.... Is that a breed?

It's "brake", not "break". Sorry to be a grammar nazi, but I've been into cars and bikes my whole life and it's one of my pet peeves.

Bike: interesting. That's actually awesome. I use rear brakes on mountain bikes when I have to. But on road, I've used it on one day. We were on a group ride, and it started pouring down rain. Coming down a hill towards a stop light, my front brake cable snapped. I ended up just making a right turn and coasting to a stop and rejoined the group later (not a lot of traffic and good visibility). But getting back home was...interesting. Tiny contact patches at 120psi just do not hydroplane, so you can corner at 40mph+ even in standing water as long as there's no gravel or paint on the road. But when you actually have to stop…even leaning way back (crotch behind the saddle) it's insanely easy to lock up a rear wheel under breaking.

After using a Evic for the last two months I finally broke down and bought a Provari Mini. Vape wise I can't tell a difference but from a quality and form factor perspective the Provari wins - at least in my opinion.
Both provide a smooth vape under just about any battery level I just prefer the feel and looks of my Provari. IMHO VW does nothing more than allow .00 level adjustments to the voltage. If you can taste the difference, buy an Evic because I couldn't nor did I see any value in having to constantly adjust wattage when adjusting voltage achieved the same results.
