Wife wants to quit, wont try electronic unless it looks like a real cigarette

I'm really happy my wife said she wants to quit and is willing to try the electronic
cigarettes.

But she asked me to research it and now I'm totally overwhelmed!

I've been reading through the forums and I find a common thread to
people saying that the "510" worked for them.

However when I search for 510 electronic cigarettes I can't seem to find
one that looks like a real cigarette (white with a brown filter). That is
what she wants.

So I'd love to hear any recommendations on finding such a product or similar.

There are some alternatives identical to analogs but why not a all white 510?

No the 510 comes in many colors and you can if ordering from China maybe find a filter colored cart. But in a week or so she won't care if it's pink if it works!
I started with a white 510 before the first month was out I upgraded to Riva (platinum) and never looked back. I wish her well. Try liberty flights for a Riva or ego bout the same or the Joye510 or if you can afford it get both, parts are good for both and she can try it all. Get some drip tips and a pack of cartomizers and don't forget juice!

She didn't stay with it a real long time, and moved on to another pv. But it did get her started vaping. Draw is a little hard but overall a good PV. You can purchase cartomizers from there or the cartomizers from V4L fit it.

If she wants to refill her own cartomizers with juice, it is an automatic battery and if anything happens to the battery it will probably void the warranty.

I believe the Volt comes in white. Vapor 4 Life also has white batteries. Both of these are KR808's.

I thought I wanted a cig look alike at first too...but compare battery size on the little ones to that of the Riva510. Will she get frustrated recharging often?

You may have to look for yellow or white Cartridges though.
Id say pay no more than $40.00 for a kit and be sure to get at least 2 batteries.
I would have quit 3 months sooner if I would have had an extra battery to use while the other was charging.

There are a ton of places in the forum supplier section at the top of the page.
I like litecigusa.com but there are many good ones....Just don't pay more than you need to...Unless you can afford to...lol

I think most vendors will have no problem supplying you with a white battery.
The cartridge is the hard part.
Also I advise manual batteries. kinda takes the look away but gives you way more control on the inhale.
Basically with a auto battery you have to inhale a different way....takes a while to get used to. at least it did for me.

that it will work for her. I understand the battery issues, I don't even want her
at this point worrying about that. All I want for her is to experience what she
told me. She said she want's to be able to take a break a experience a smoke.
For her (she says) it's about getting away from the grind and feeling the lift.

I just want to help her the best I can and I appreciate all your comments.

That's really nice of you! The Smoke Tip is returnable if it's not her cup of tea. Is she a big smoker. My mom smoked for almost 60 years and it just wasn't enough for her to get off the cigs completely. But it did help her fall in love with vaping.

Glad that she's open to vaping even if only a mini to start. Good for her! As long as you don't spend too much and be sure to have 2 batteries she'll prolly be fine. I'd sneak an order in for an Ego, Riva or clone for next week though. She's lucky to have you gathering the info. That takes the most time and patience. Good luck.

Any particular reason she wants it to "look" like a cigarette?

The reason I asked is that I am a newbie - got my ego kit last Thrusday - and went way out of my way to find something that did not look like a cigarette. Why? Because if I am going to be a non-smoker, I want the rest of the world to know that I am a non-smoker and to stop glaring at me; making wise cracks; doing the phoney cough routine; and all of the other stigma attached to smoking.

By the way - I'm old - as old as dirt - and I want to distance myself as far from "smoking" as I possibly can. Of course that's just me. Cranky old lady.

Good luck with your choice for her - and make sure she joins this forum. The learning curve is not easy - not by a long shot.

I totally understand the need she has for it to look like a regular cigarette, or at least for it to feel and perform like a regular cigarette. I was exactly the same!

My suggestion 100% is to get a Bloog or a Volt starter kit. They come with white batteries and red led tips, and the new cartomizers and batteries are outstanding! The beauty is, even if she eventually outgrows the 808's and wants something more powerful, you'll still have a great vaping mini unit for those tines you want to be discreet or blend in with the smokers!

I have the bloogs and love them, and even with a high powered expensive mod at my disposal, I still use and enjoy them daily!

I suggest watching a pile of YouTube videos to see how each performs before making your decision, but would probably start with the 808 models with serious preference on the newer bloog/volt style batteries and cartos.

I got my Volt today from Smokeless Image... I got a white battery with black carts...( if you can get white carts better yet) I believe to start she will be very satisfied with the Volt... I am so happy with it. I also ordered with mine quite a few of prefilled carts of different tobacco flavor and menthol. So far no craving for a analog. Great TH and lots of vapor.The kit comes with 2 batteries and I ordered one more with it.
