Seriously? They aren't going to be happy unless someone sets themselves on fire when their 18650s go up in smoke are they?
My thoughts exactly. Sure, with the Sony vtc4 or LG hb2/4/6, but 250w on most of the batteries used for vaping is a bad idea. Still better than 200w (or 213...) on two batteries though. I wish they'd focus on added functionality instead.

I have no need to upgrade for wattage other than making sure I'm current... can anyone confirm that the only difference with this upgrade is the jump to 250W? Or is there anything else added/changed?
I haven't found anything new other than wattage with 3.10.

well... just upgraded from 3.00 to 3.10 and default TCR for Ti seems to be a lot worse than before.

kept hitting temp protection ridiculously quick and was responding like crap.

decided to use manual TCR mode and set it to 366 (what steam-engine showed) and it's working like it was prior to update. i figured the update would fix the default tcr... nope. it's worse.

They need to start to include a change log. If the extra 50W is the only difference im staying with the 3.0.
I fully agree. I have no interest in 250w, but it would be good to know if any other changes have been made.

Well those of us using tc, it erased my memory presets (easy fix lol) and defaulted to 250 watts in tc. I caught that right before I went to vape it, bet it would have hit temp protect lightning fast.
Could be my imagination but seems with the same manual tcr it isn't going into temp protection nearly as much as it was. I haven't used the factory settings in a long time so can't say if they are better or worse. Nice to see a manufacturer actually continuing to update compared to ipv etc....

It completely resets the device which restores the defaults, (including screen orientation and stealth mode off), and erases stored TCR's. For some reason the default setting is 235 C in TC Ni mode, and full power, (now 250W).

I don't know if they changed anything apart from max power output. I've just been using kanthal.

Upgraded both now I must find instructions again on how to set them up again, one thing is for sure it has bought this thread back to life again:)
