Thanks for posting those Tuts. I have a couple apps that are for making customizations and decrypting/encrypting the actual .bin firmware files but I was hoping for more info on the process of where to start...

This post may or may not make sense as I am extremely tired hehe

I got my rx200 last week from FT and was pleased to see it came with the latest 3.0 ver. . My first SS316L build worked nicely in the standard SS mode. Now I want to try the same SS coil in the manual TCR mode. There seems to be several memory presets, M1, M2 and M3 that I can use to save different TCR values. But are these presets only for SS? Are there also M1, M2 and M3 settings for Ni and for Ti?

The TCR Memory settings are independent from the Ni, Ti, and SS modes. If you set a custom TCR in M1, it doesn't affect anuthing else. To use that setting, you just scroll past the others in the mode select. I think in order to get them to show up in the mode select, you have to first go and set a custom TCR.

Thanks, greasegizzard. The TCR mode instructions from the Wismec site doesn't explain how to use manual TCR settings very well. They give very wide TCR ranges to try for the different wire types. I'll start with SS and just experiment, although the default SS setting seems to work for me.

I've noticed all these companies are good about adding features to the firmware, just not so much when it comes to updating their manuals.

You know how to change M1, etc? You turn it off (5 clicks). Then press the fire button and the up button for about 5 seconds. All three memory slots are set to 120 as the default. That is pretty close for SS. Here are some TCR settings (YMMV).

i have a RX use 3 LG browns (3000 mah 20 amp), is it just me or is battery life really crappy for having 9000 Mah (or what ever you guys run)? my Istick 100(120w) TC with 2 browns actually lasts longer. anyone else seeing bad batery life?
How are you charging them? And no, my Reuleaux RXs and DNAs are lasting longer per charge than any of my other mods. I dunno, like about 25ml of juice per charge I reckon.

My rx200s definitely have better battery life than my istick 100tc. How are you comparing them? Same atty? Ml of liquid consumed?

Could be there's something wrong with your rx. It should definitely last longer on a charge than any two-battery mod. Then again, vape time assessment is very subjective. I believe you're only experiencing it as the rx having worse battery runtime.

There are a number of things damaging when charged internally in the RX. One it only cares about the total voltage of the cells in series and not the individual cell voltage. I haven't checked when the RX stops charging, but 12.6v wouldn't surprise me. And if any cell is less than 4.20v, that means one or more cells are charged over 4.20v. Even one being charged to 4.30v probably isn't going to cause a fire, but the capacity of that cell goes down really fast under this treatment. And cells in series are only as good as the weakest cell.

if theres something wrong with it it means that both of them i have, 1 for me, 1 for my wife, have the same problem. the best i cant put this is my wifes favorite tank is the playboy vixen mini with the aspire clapton coil, with a RX with externally charged batteries she can vape for 1.5 days in the RX, or close to 3 days with the laisimo T1 same set up both at 38 watts. it will end up in the forgotten mod drawer with my Smok Xcube2, functionality is the same as my Istick and my Cuboid. which is good, but i am very disapointed with battery life and as such will turn the married 3 into 3 single batteries and get a Istick Pico and be a happy camper
